At the College of Architecture and Construction Management (CACM), research spans the full life cycle of the built environment, from materials and fabrication to building performance and long-term resilience. We work where design meets construction and where the built and natural environments intersect.

Our teams prototype in labs, validate on job sites, and publish results that inform practice, policy, and education. Collaborating with industry, agencies, and communities, we address questions that reduce carbon, elevate quality, and improve the places people use every day.
