New Release of CDART

Long time no post!  NCBI has announced its new release of CDART, Conserved Domain Architecture Retrieval Tool with enhanced features such as:

  • improved performance for long query proteins
  • expanded input options: protein sequence, set of conserved domains
  • display of similarity scores
  • filtering of results

Cytoscape Webinar

The Taubman Health Sciences Library and the National Center for Integrative Biomedical Informatics (NCIBI) are offering a remote Cytoscape training class via Adobe Connect.  Cytoscape is an open source molecular interactions visualization tool.

President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Provost Phil Hanlon announced the University of Michigan’s support to expand postdoctoral fellowship opportunities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the social, behavioral and economics fields.  Applications are currently being accepted and more information is available at the University Partnerships for Faculty Diversity site.

PNAS Editor to Head New OA Journal
