Academic Success Coaches provide personalized, one-on-one support to help you navigate your college journey. Coaches empower you to build confidence, set goals, and develop the skills needed to thrive throughout your college experience.

When meeting with a academic success coach, students have an opportunity to develop academic, social, financial, and personal goals to promote success both in and outside the classroom.

Schedule an Academic Success Coaching Appointment

Click “Schedule Appointment” in the top right corner.
Under the type of appointment, select “Academic Coaching and Support.”
Select “Academic Success Coaching” as the service.
Select your date preference for the appointment (please note that student success coaching appointments must be scheduled 24 hours or more in advance).
Select the meeting type preference for your appointment (in person, phone, or virtual).
Finally, select the time that works best for you.
Review and confirm your appointment details.
You may choose to add additional comments for your Student Success Coach to review prior to your appointment.
Opt-in to receive automatic reminders about your upcoming appointment.

Once scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email sent to your KSU student email account.

Drop-In Success Coaching

Students are welcome to participate in drop-in Academic Success Coaching sessions (in-person or virtual) to connect with a Academic Success Coach for quick questions or brief support.

Drop-in coaching is available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be scheduled in advance. To ensure you receive assistance, please arrive no later than 30 minutes before the posted daily end time. Have your student ID number ready at check-in.

In-Person Drop-Ins
- Visit us on the Kennesaw Campus in University Hall, Suite 213.
- Sign up for drop-in coaching at the front desk.
- An Academic Success Coach will call you back when it’s your turn.
Virtual Drop-Ins
- Call (470) 578-3550 or email [email protected], to request a virtual drop-in session and provide your KSU ID number.
- An Academic Success Coach will email you a Microsoft Teams link when they are ready to meet.
- Be sure to have your KSU email open and ready to go—Once your email notification is sent, it's important to log in ASAP

Coaches also provide ongoing support throughout your time at college, helping you create and follow through on your action plan.

Sessions are personalized, and you’ll typically work with the same coach throughout your college years. There’s no limit to how many appointments you can schedule each year!
