The BCBST Data Science Research Lab’s central mission is to apply traditional and cutting edge methods from statistics and machine learning to evaluate and improve patient health care outcomes. The lab employs a faculty supervisor and several graduate students including Lauren Staples, who is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Analytics and Data Science.
