I reported a fault with my Fridgemaster fridge while it was still under warranty, yet the call centre has now told me I am “not entitled to a repair.” This is completely unacceptable.
A repair appointment was even booked for a time I had already told them I was unavailable. Instead of simply rebooking it, the call centre decided to deny my repair altogether — despite the fact that the fault was raised within the warranty period and should therefore still be honoured.
The agents I spoke to showed zero understanding of basic consumer rights and were dismissive when I tried to explain that the timing of the report is what matters, not the timing of the appointment. Their attitude was rude, unhelpful, and gave the impression they were more interested in avoiding work than supporting customers.
I have never experienced such poor after-sales support. When a company can’t even follow its own warranty terms or UK consumer law, it says everything about their customer service standards.
I would strongly urge others to think twice before buying from them, because once something goes wrong, you may find yourself completely unsupported.

After I bought my fridge/ freezer (2 years ago) I instantly regretted it after reading reviews on here. I was hoping I would be lucky and get away with it, but here we are! Fridge is now dead. Lights are on but both freezer and fridge are Luke warm and no huming noise, so I’m another victim of a dud product and a bin full of defrosted food.
Trade and standard need to shut this business down!

I would give them no stars
If I could I would give them no stars. Had a 50/50 frost free fridge freezer. After time it started to frost up, then 24 months after purchase it stopped cooling.
Contacted fridgemaster customer service by phone which took 40 minutes to get through only to be told it’s out of warranty and immediately put onto a company who would want a fortune to fix their poor quality appliance, also mention the customer service was unbelievably poor.
Contacted a local fridge freezer engineer who stated it would cost more to fix due to the cheap parts they use on these appliances.
All I can say is stay clear of fridgemaster products!!

Parts missing on my mums fridge master .the levellers on my 94 year old mus fridge was missing.after spending any days and hours on the phone we were sent the wrong parts ,then asked for proof of purchase,videos of under the fridge I’m 62 by the way ! Photos ,and model number . I have not done this as it’s unacceptable my poor mum is so upset. Haven’t heard anything from Fridge master .won’t ever use them again
OMG - sooooo bad quality
OMG. I bought an integrated fridge freezer. After 4 years, it is leaking water and I cannot buy the door seal to resolve the problem. Absolutely rubbish. Never buy it again.

I bought my fridge freezer in February 2025, and since last 4 weeks its started making loud noises. tried to contact the customer care after 1 hour the call connected then they advised to send the video and the proof of purchase, I did what they said. after that there is no response from the company very bad after care service from this company. the sound is from the fridge freezer getting very loud now.
Fridge that doesn't keep temperature in correct range
The fridge doesn't maintain the correct temperature <4C, the whirring stops before the temperature is reached with the thermometer on the second to bottom shelf. I've followed what the instruction manual said; thermometer on bottom or 2nd from bottom and it should reach <4C. It doesn't. This has been a recurring problem for the past year.
Also the heat exchanger (condenser coil) location, it's in the side panel, very poor heat transfer, have to boost it by putting wet tissue paper evaporative cooling.
I haven't as yet reached out to customer service. Judging by the reviews most complaints have been about customer service. I will get a different model.

Tall freezer started severe icing in the top after 3 weeks. I rang to query it and was told to give it a while to settle. After 3 months it was icing up every few days. An engineer came, looked at it and said I needed a new door. New door came, another engineer came to fit it and said I didn’t need a new door, it went back.Problem continued all year and was then told to defrost it every 2 weeks which was ridiculous.
Now it ices up every day, They won’t do anything about it as out of warranty. They said their engineers reported. No fault found. How can an engineer report this by opening the door and looking? Obviously rubbish engineers. Do not buy from these people. I now have to dump this one and get another.

Twice I've tried to contact fridgemaster this last year by phone ( cut off both times after + 1 hour waiting) and by email ( no reply ) to my query over their malfunctioning merchandise. Terrible customer service
Pressure to buy extended warranty
Bought a fridge freezer 1 week ago through AO. Received a call today from then asking me to buy extended warranty because they say, if i have an issue i will have to pay £167 before they will come out! Im also contacting AO to inform them of this scam.

Omg so many complaints every tray has broken in freezer I took nozle out of water dispenser to clean but obviously hard to put back was leaking tried to get new one which at that time had only had fridge freezer 8 months took me lots of getting in touch no response till finally managed to get in touch and tried to charge me £40 customer service is a no no not interested worse fridge freezer I have ever had waste of time paying extra for water dispenser as can not use I so don’t to pay all that extra to renew trays as so flimsy may as buy new fridge freezer
Terrible product and customer service
Terrible product and customer service. The fridge freezer wasn't cheap but I really wish I spent a bit more money on a different brand. Bought a brand new fridge freezer from AO (model MC55265ES). Within the first week the bottom of the fridge compartment and the vegetable drawer were filled with water as the condensation is not draining down the hole at the back of the fridge. Since getting the fridge I have been trying to contact Fridgemaster to register my product and start it's one year warranty. You are told to do this online but the model of my fridge does not appear on their options list so i have been trying to get in contact by phone. Every time I have called I have been on hold for over 40 minutes and only once actually managed to speak to someone. They were very abrupt and dismissive and spoke through me saying to call another number, even though I had called the number provided on the warranty leaflet. When I called the other number I was instantly given an automated "cannot connect you" style message and I was disconnected. I have also filled out the online help application 3 times and have received no contact whatsoever (not even a message to say they have my request) but coincidentally I have received about 6 or 7 dodgy emails a day ever since from various strange sources.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Extremely Poor Quality Fridge Freezer FridgeMaster with Water Dispenser
I was very impressed with my FridgeMaster Fridge Freezer with water Dispenser, only purchased 7th July. I registered its warranty on the same day of purchase.

The water Dispenser has never worked & im having to run this fridge freezer on No 4 for it to stay cool????????
Ive only purchased this as my old one of 8yrs plus stopped working. I contacted FridgeMaster today & gave them all necessary details who assured me they would email & asked me to send pics of the dial in the fridgefreezer, & purchase details, i do not have facility on my phone to do this even when i do receive an email from them. I have given them mode No serial No etc etc. I just want what i paid for A new Fridge Freezer that actually works.
