Rubbish car and dealer.

Drove 100 miles, advert said full service history, 12 months mot, excellent condition lovely car!!!!! Absolute bollocks!!!! No service history, no mot, and car smelt like a dogs arse!!! Crap dealer.

I purchased a Skoda Roomster through…

I purchased a Skoda Roomster through your website. The seller was very helpful only until the deposit was paid. During the video call, the person presenting the car spoke very poor English and rushed through the presentation in an unprofessional manner. There was no opportunity to ask questions, as the presenter did not seem to understand them.
When the car arrived, it turned out that rust was present almost everywhere on the vehicle. When I called the company to ask why such a serious issue had not been mentioned in the advert, I was told: “Next time, zoom in on the photos and you will see it.”
I explained that I did not want the car, but the seller replied that if there were no technical faults, I would lose my entire deposit if I returned it. In addition, the radio cover shown in the photos had been removed, and the seller’s only response was: “You can buy yourself a new one.”
Finally, when I received the new registration keeper (green slip), it showed the name of a completely different person. When I raised this issue, I was simply told that I was “making a problem” and that the correct certificate would eventually arrive in my name.
I believe that if your platform allows such dealers to operate, it reflects very poorly on your service. You should properly verify all sellers and ensure they maintain the required standards – otherwise, they should not be permitted to advertise on your site.
Only by enforcing these rules will you gain the trust of buyers. At present, customers are exposed to unfair practices and a lack of transparency, which undermines confidence in the used car market.

Star Cars Chingford - VW Polo needs a new gearbox

We purchased a White VW Polo (registration LR15 NJF) for my daughter shortly after she passed her driving test. Within a few days of purchase, the engine management light came on. We booked the vehicle into our local VW main dealer for diagnostics and were advised that the car required a replacement gearbox (quoted at approx. £7,700) along with additional repairs estimated at £800.

The vehicle has not been driven since this diagnosis and was returned via car transporter. A refund was issued, minus certain fees, but the car was clearly not fit for use at the time of purchase.

Although the engine management light has since been turned off, VW informed us that it will return once the car is driven again.

DO NOT TRUST THE CAZOO WEBSITE

DO NOT TRUST THE CAZOO WEBSITE! Please be careful with buying a car from this platform We went to see a car advertised on the Cazoo website with history check saying PASSED from drivewave motors the man from driveway motors told us a pack of lies saying only had 2 owners etc and when we did hpi vehicle check it had been written off twice and was then in salvage yard. It is disgusting they let these people advertise on the site without checks on the vehicles we travelled 20 miles to see the car paid £10 for the HPI check and waisted all our Saturday afternoon. I contacted cazoo to complain and in there words my email has been logged against the dealer account. The car is still for sale in the Cazoo website….. how and why would they let this car still be advertised on their platform knowing what they do !!! Awful
