Quickly up & running under a variety of conditions!

I have had the X2 for a few weeks and I love it, both as a physician and as an athlete! The set-up is quite straightforward and I was able to see a streaming EKG within minutes. I like the many automated features such as % of time with normal v. 'other' heart rhythm, especially during longer collection periods. Use during extreme physical activity is also very good- a few occasional 'noisy' periods but overall very good. Additionally, not requiring your phone (or any device) to be close by is also an important feature. Once you have your phone available, it will simply synch at that time. Downloading the complete EKG to my laptop as a PDF file is a critical and very useful feature, especially when I want to share the tracings with others. I also found the technical support to be excellent: Jayadev was affable, available and very capable. Kudos to Frontier for a great product!

Outstanding customer service outstanding product

The customer service prior to buying the device was awesome. They answered all of my questions and set up a phone call with me. After I purchased the device, they offered me another call to go over things in more detail. The device itself has a very nice form factor is completely comfortable. I wore it for a four hour endurance race. I even got some mud underneath the electrodes, but was able to wipe it off with my finger and continue to get solid readings for another two hours. The amount of data that you get is very valuable. It’s also excellent feature to be able to feel a vibration on your chest when you are pushing your heart past where you want to be The live ECG function works very well. It is limited to one hour but for most applications I think that is completely reasonable. I streamed the first hour of my race to my friends and my wife just to see how the data came through. I charge the device once and I use it six or seven hours of training , the sinking is very fast happens automatically and wirelessly. I would like to see some more activity types or to be able to put in my own activity type that I can save in the app well worth the price highly recommended I am going to try to get all of the athletes on my team on this tech .

Really great idea and design and simple…

Really great idea and design and simple to use but just not quite there... Connectivity drop outs are constantly a problem with devices or will not sync with other third party apps. Heart rate while running is wildly and regularly off target compared to polar (easy zone 2 runs regularly register 180 BPM periods then drops to 0 and I can't tighten the strap anymore as advised!). Sadly end up returning to using polar straps which is a shame as the extra heart Information is a big selling point. Hopefully they will improve.

First class device to monitor health and athletics performance.

Fantastic device. I’m a physician and aging competitive athlete. I’ve used many devices to track and monitor health and performance over many many years. Some good, many junk. The Frontier X2 itself, the presale education, post sale technical and health reviews and education are perfect and outstanding. I'm happy with my Frontier X2

I'm happy with my Frontier X2. My training is safer and I can improve my performance in a healthy way. I can also take benefit from the biomechanical parameters like Cadence and Body Shock. There are a lot of useful information in the App and the Webpage. The support is excellent!

So far, the experience has been very good. However, I have one request. Integration is required for the Samsung Health app and Samsung watch. We don't need to carry a bulky phone if we have the app on the Samsung watch.

The Fourth Frontier X2 is an incredible piece of kit…

The Fourth Frontier X2 is an incredible piece of kit. I've been seriously impressed with the quality of the data, as has my cardiologist who is happy to use it for diagnostics & monitoring. The customer support from the team has been second to none with any questions or issues addressed very quickly and in a personal manner. The monitor itself is really comfortable to wear and nowhere near as big as I had expected it to be (it's not much bigger than a standard chest Wahoo or Garmin monitor). Overall I think this is a great piece of kit looking for a deeper look at heart health. To get the most out of it you do need to have an understanding of ECG's or someone to interpret it, but definitely worth it.

Unique functionality and great product and support

Honestly the frontier x2 is a great product. It just does something no other product out there can do (continuous ecg), and imo only for that it’s worth it. But also the product is easy to use (I linked it to a wahoo element bolt zero issues), the app is good, and the support is amazing (they even offer me some beta tools they are developing now). All in all for anybody interested on more data about the heart this is a must have, I wish I found about it before.

I highly recommend doing a virtual meeting

I highly recommend doing a virtual meeting if you are considering purchasing. It was extremely informative. I am a Sports Medicine Physician who is also a competitive rower/runner with heart issues. This is a highly unique ECG monitoring device. ECG recording while exercising is not normally possible except in a lab. This is an amazing breakthrough in wearable technology. I am really looking forward to receiving my Frontier X2. They also have a sports bra so the difficulty of wearing a chest strap plus a sports bra is alleviated. Amazing!!

Customer Services responded quickly.

I have only just received my Fourth Frontier Monitor and am trying to use it properly to ensure I get accurate results.
I had a query and decided to contact Customer Service and was very pleased to get a quick response which is very important to a first time user.
The knowledgeable response to my question, answered by Customer Services agent Poonam, was written in a simple and understanding way and which provided me an easy to understand solution.

Great product and great service

Very quick from order to receipt, very easy to get started and it links well with my Garmin (which other sensors have not).

Battery life is great and it is really useful to see the percentage battery level on the display.

I also like the fact that you can email directly to real people and you get quick responses!

Buy one.

I've been using this since, oh, god-knows-when. Sure, it can be temperamental, but once they guide you around how to reboot the device, etc. the data you get from it is a joy. Sure, some of it is algorithm-driven, but overall it provides a far more complete picture of your exercise routine and overall cardiac health when exercising. My only complaint is that I'd like a wrist mounted display of the main parameters (HR, HRV, QTc, body shock, breathing). Surely this is possible? I'd pay for it!

New user, great start

Only using X2 for a week and need to learn / read lots more to better understand what i'm reading, but at least now i have the data i can investigate. Asked some questions to support and they suggest to have introductory call . I spoke with Pavan DS who has covered all my questions very quickly, it was very productive call with knowledgable person. on some medical question her offered separate call.
