Hi, I’m Britt Coxon (she/her or they/them).
I’m an artist based in North East England, making things for web and print. Things I do include illustration, graphic design, websites, papercraft, music, photography, comics and zines. My work has a collaborative and communication focus, often resulting from workshops, consultations with educators or interactions with the public. My work explores communication, mental health, self-empowerment, storytelling, community and understanding.
I love working both digitally and with pen and paper, combining analogue and digital in interesting ways to create something new. What excites me most is being able to find and tell unique stories through my work.

What’s in the Shop?
My card designs start as a hand drawn sketch, then I scan them into the computer for tidying up and cutting by a paper robot known as the Silhouette Cameo. I carefully choose the colour and texture of the card for each design, adding recycled and handmade papers for a unique finish.
For prints I use a matte or slightly textured paper finish to capture the details of my original watercolours and bring out the bright colours of my digital work. All of my paper is sustainably sourced or recycled and recyclable.
