Liked my program and liked having something to add to my LinkedIn profile. I think that one of their credentials can definitely make a positive difference in your job applications especially if you are interested in breaking into a new industry/discipline.

i really thought the program was pretty easy

Katzberg is great for students who feel like they are struggling to get noticed on job applications. I think it makes my resume look way more tailored and applicable to jobs in the field I want to work in after graduation.

I got a certificate in something other than my college major which I thought would be useful for making myself look like a more well-rounded job candidate. I also thought the program was honestly really affordable and not prohibitively complicated.

As someone already working full-time, I see Katzberg as a practical way to stay competitive for promotions and advancement. Employers notice when you’ve made the effort to keep building your skills, and having a certification listed under skills and certifications on my resume shows that I take initiative outside of my day-to-day role. The content itself was straightforward and easy to manage with my schedule, but the real value is in how it positions me compared to others who may only rely on their years of experience. For the price, it’s a smart way to make sure I’m not overlooked when opportunities for raises or promotions come up.

I think what Katzberg does best is bridge the gap between college and the job market. My classes give me the theory, but Katzberg provides a practical credential I can actually use to stand out. I like that the programs are flexible and not too time consuming, because I work part time and don’t have the option to pursue an extra minor. Keeping in mind that it’s supposed to be an addition to your college coursework, I think that my Katzberg Institute certificate is incredibly useful. It is really nice to be able to learn some new skills while adding something specific to my educational experience.

Overall a good experience. The coursework itself wasn’t overly challenging, but honestly I liked that it was manageable on top of my regular school load. The real value for me is how it looks in my application materials. I’m not sure it will be a game changer by itself, but as one more piece of evidence that I’ve gone beyond the basics, I think it will make a difference when employers are reviewing resumes.

I think my certificate program will be useful for my career development. I learned some interesting things in the program itself and can apply what I learned moving forward, especially in interviews and cover letters.
