I chose this company because of its competitive price and ease of buying on-line. After sales was good as I received an e-mail almost immediately after purchase. Well worth a look if you're looking for holiday insurance.

Straight forward health insurance for a recent trip to Krakow. Thankfully everything was fine, but having peace of mind knowing I was covered if anything did happen.

Clear policy documents and the cover options are great for me (especially the up-to 60 day trip cover and 21 day winter sports cover. The premium seemed competitive too. So far - much better than my previous insurer who had recently introduced silly restrictions and kept jacking up the premium by ridiculous amounts each year (60% this year and nothing had changed apart from I was a year older).
No hassle with a pre-existing medical condition either.
Activating the cover was a doddle and I have to say the Gigasure Android App is really slick, intuitive and impressive.
Have only just bought this insurance so have not needed to use the cover (hope I never need to). So can't comment on the claims process though obviously that is where we ultimately would find out how good this insurance and Gigasure is. However with their 5* rating and judging by the App and experience so far I am reasonably confident my annual multi-trip insurance is in good hands.

Awful service. Would never use again or recommend to anyone.
Been trying to sort claim out since 29th July when I was in hospital for 5 days.
Always promised callbacks from the Claim Handler but never received them. In my 5th month trying to sort this mess out. All relevant information has been sent and received but not any further ahead.
The amount they say I am claiming is also wrong and I’ve since had another bill from the hospital.
I was told when in hospital on the Friday of my stay that I would be moving to the Public Hospital. The insurance company said I had to stay in the private one until the Monday which put my bill up for another 3.5 days. I was then discharged with no admission to Public Hospital and had to get issue resolved when I got home after I received my fit to fly.
I paid over €3000 euros and have been sent a bill for over another €3100 euros due to the 3.5 extra days.
Claim department not interested in help at all. System always down, no one higher to talk to, have a back log etc.
Extremely stressful.
Anyone looking to use this company I would advise to avoid.
Booking the insurance very simple and straightforward however if you have to claim there is no support or help. A total disgrace.

Had a very bad experience with this company when it came to make a claim it took 4 weeks for them to get back with my claim. After sending proof of my flight delay and cancellation that’s wasn’t enough Now they don’t want to paid out . Excuse not paid out asking to claim with your other insurance which hold with the banks .

It was easy to join up and to get a quote. I think the hardest part was logging into the app but I got there in the end. Don’t take it the wrong way guys. I hope I never need you but it’s reassuring that I have the insurance now
