Good price, but don't get into an accident.
I opted for this company because of favourable excesses and price.
Unfortunately earlier this year my partner had an accident in my car, it wasn't his fault.
My partner initially communicated with them, however despite myself being the policy holder they barely communicated with me at all. On one particular occasion the repairs department refused to speak to me at all because they hadn't been told that I was the policy holder.
This may have been less irritating if it weren't for the fact that in order to speak to the department that you want you end up being transferred between calls or sent to a different website or spend hours trying to communicate through the live chat, God forbid your phone should lock while in the 'queue'.
It took two weeks for them to arrange a hire car, and that still took me chasing them to get it sorted. And it took longer for my car to be collected by the repairs department.
Almost five months later and I'm still getting the run around.

Just taken out a policy with this company. Easy to use chat thats not an automated service like others. Think his name was Jack JT3. Price was reasonable compared to others. Hope this continues as well as it has today.

Website a nightmare, human helper brilliant...
... as and when you can get hold of them. HH2 was very patient, well informed and so helpful. Now if you'd sack the techies who designed the architecture of your whole service and its confusing mix of web pages, ('Onecall'? Hahaha... 'Oneprotect'? okay once I found their portal), defunct phone numbers, difficulties with sending me emails ... sack the lot of them and employ lots of direct helpers like the lady called HH2. And let's have the chats by live phone calls and not little typed windows staffed by a robot before you can get through to a live, helpful human being like her.

Prest the wrong key on my phone i said I had 7 years NCB when it was 6. I got charged over £80 for administration fees. I did check my previous NCB when i recieved a week later from my previos insurers which states 6 years. Previous insurers have asked for me to forward this as prove. Thats half my winter fuel allowance gone. In my view / opinion very overcharged administration fees. Be careful folks.

Letter says 'If you are thinking of leaving us, it is important you contact us via live chat'. Why? If I don't want to renew, I should not have to contact One.
I pressed home insurance on live chat and was connected to motor insurance. I was diverted and had to wait from 21st in the queue again.
Decent Price and Smooth Years Insurance
The policy was sound and well priced. However, like any renewal, I was able to source a better renewal price elsewhere. Ending the automatic renewal was easily done through the online chat where KT7 attended to the correspondence.

Everything was in place but paying was a nightmare. Not on your behalf but mine. Payment would not go through but I had a chat with the chat line and found out it hadn't gone through so paid with my other bank and it went through straight away. Documents were sent within 30 minutes. Good price fully covered.
Replaced my car mid insurance
Replaced my car mid insurance. Had to reinsurance elsewhere as existing company wouldn’t insure new car for some reason. Disappointed that I didn’t get a refund as nearly three months of old car policy still to go. Told this is in the small print. Agent BC5 was very helpful but new quote provided with but BC5 was too expensive so I’ll try a comparison site.
