I've been using the app for a while now, but since the last few days they made some kind of update and now it looks totally different. I love it so much. My daughter gave me a new Tag and the process to connect is so much easier for me. Huge fan, keep it up!

I use both the Pebblebee tags and the cheap alternatives from Temu. I can confirm that the tags from Temu work just as well, maybe even better, and they are 8 times cheaper.

Disappointing Reliability and Hollow Customer Support - $180 Wasted
I purchased six Pebblebee Gen 1 tracking devices (Clips and Cards) in August 2023 for nearly $180, attracted by the rechargeable feature and credit card form factor as an alternative to AirTags. After just over a year, all devices have become completely unusable.
The Problem:
After storing the devices for about 6 months over summer, they died completely. Once recharged, none of them would reconnect to my iPhone 12 Pro. I can successfully factory reset them (they play the confirmation jingle), but they refuse to enter pairing mode when double-pressed - there's simply no response. Yet ironically, they still trigger "a device is following you" alerts on my phone, proving they're partially functional.

This is where my frustration really lies. Support was polite, understanding, and appreciated my "detailed messages" - but offered absolutely nothing of substance. Just hollow affirmations like "I understand how disappointing this feels" followed by a pathetic 10% discount offer. No firmware fix option, no actual troubleshooting beyond basic steps, no escalation to engineering, no warranty consideration despite this clearly being a software/firmware issue affecting ALL six devices identically.
They thanked me for being a customer "who cares deeply" while simultaneously refusing to actually fix the problem or take responsibility for what is obviously a firmware failure. Kind words mean nothing when you still have $180 worth of bricked devices.
The Real Issue:
These devices sat in a closet and became permanently unusable - not crushed, not water damaged, just stored. This is clearly a SOFTWARE issue, not hardware failure. There should be a firmware recovery option via USB-C, but apparently Pebblebee would rather sell you new units than support the ones you already bought.
My original AirTags, which are twice as old and look beaten up, still work perfectly. I deeply regret not sticking with Apple. Save yourself the money and frustration - spend a bit more on AirTags that actually work long-term and have real customer support, not just pleasant-sounding dead ends.

Deceitful sales on the website.
The prices are in CHF but they ship from an EU country and Swiss customs charge the processing fee. Pebblebee refused to reimburse it.
I find it very misleading that they show prices in CHF, looking like a locally-integrated business, but then don't take care of handling the customs.

Ordered my 3 x Pebblebee clips pre released to the UK before they had a European base. Spent a small fortune getting them here via postage as truly believed the hype. Unfortunately they aren't anywhere near as good as the Apple equivalent with regards to tracking and furthermore, the clips have all failed and broken in the same place within the year. All three clips linked to a single key / tiny bunch and used as expected. Pebblebee kindly replaced one under warranty with a 5 USD fee unfortunately it's not looking hopeful that my extra 2x clips will be replaced. There is no market online for a case to continue use of this device so once it's broken you can't physically clip it to anything. Please think carefully if this is important to you as it is to me - I bought due to a toddlers obsession with putting keys on a bin.

Package was delivered to a access point 20 minutes away from me, despite them not attempting to deliver my parcel and subsequently requesting redelivery this was ignored.
It is now over a week that my parcel should have been delivered, support@pebblebee haven't helped either redeliver my package or refund me.

I was out did not find my keys but lucky me I have tracker on it! that did not work! I have 3 tracker and 2 of them dosent work anymore after around half a year. I already tryed chaging, restet and some other thinks I read on reddit but its still not working. im completly angry on myself for buying trash that cost me 130€. btw i found my keys they where found by some kids.

I traveled from Finland to South Africa, and when I arrived at Johannesburg Airport my suitcase never came on the carousel. There was, however, a very similar-looking suitcase still going around. With Google’s Find My Device I saw that my own suitcase was already outside the airport heading downtown. Thanks to the tracker, the staff quickly resolved the mix-up, and within 1.5 hours my suitcase was returned. I even made it just in time for my bus. Without the tracking tag, this would have been a stressful and much longer process.

Updated firmware rendered the whole product useless.
If you need to update firmware to locate the product but you can't find the product then the product is rendered useless.

I bought 3 clips one month ago.
Before buying I confirmed that is it a 2 way finder and they confirmed on Fb yes you can buzz your fone through clip.
I have sent them videos, that after connecting, and giving permission it's not compatible note 20.. And now they have dissappeared because they don't want refund.
First they missell the product, then only 1 support email in 3 weeks and now total dissappearance.
Stay away from PB. IT'S NOT A 2 WAY FINDER.

The clip is dropping connection to the pebblebee app. that's the problem which needs to be fixed.

poor quality products unfortunately.
I bought a bunch of trackers, and they fail one ofter the other.
The keyring attachment is only glued n, so if you pull on it it will detach from the tracker. Today I took my keys form my pocket and once again, another tracker stayed in my pocket as the glue gave up.
Not worth the cost.

I really like the Clip I bought it. The led lights are handy and you can check the battery by pressing the button. So far super happy with my new tracker!

At first, I wasn’t expecting anything more than a tracker, but since I’ve been using Pebblebee devices, my life has changed a lot, for the better. I live in quite a remote area, and now I’m able to see my daughter’s location, as well as her car’s (and mine). It’s super useful. This can be a life changer for a father.

I don't believe this product is ready for market, way to many glitches and support doesn't like answering questions just refers you back to FAQ which you already spent to much of your life looking for an aswer that isn't there. Product has potential but not ready for market, waste of time and money sadly

My Pebblebee Clips are part of my day to day. I've been using them from years now. On my keys and luggage when travel. Not only is a peace of my but I have found my car keys more times than I can remember. Just a tap of distance. The app is a perfect add-on to the overall experience, allowing me to update the Clips and find my phone which is really usefull.

I've been using Pebblebee Clips and Cards for years on my keys, my pool cover key, and of course my luggage when I travel. I've put one in my child's Chromebook case after they left it in the hall. They have been very reliable and the batteries last for ages (bonus points for not having to buy batteries and pry open the device to replace it).
I bought some for my mother and she used them on a recent trip where she left her backpack in an uber AND the airline lost her checked luggage after a flight change (it was quite the trip). These things happen all the time.
All in all, I recommend these item finders for the things you don't want to lose track of.

I'm retired and not the most tech-savvy, but I wanted something to help me keep track of my keys and purse. My son helped me set up my Pebblebee, and it’s been a comfort ever since.
