Built in oven
Bought a candy oven in September only had it 2 months and it stopped working no display no power at all checked fuse and different power socket still not working contacted retailer and they gave me candy contact no for a engineer waited 6 days for him to come out to repair it but he just took photo of oven saying I'll have to order part it can take 5 -8 days for part to come in stock then we have to arrange engineer to come out again with part to fix oven that will be 2 weeks going on 3 weeks with no oven when I've got 3 young children to feed and also I need oven for Xmas which there not saying if it will be fixed or not this is not acceptable for a company to leave a family without cooking facility for this length of time and still waiting ! rang candy today 5/12/25 and there saying in there agreement they have 28 days to repair my oven ! Which is not right when you have a family and 3 young children its( disgusting)
Faulty hob pot supports .
Purchased a hoover hob on the 15/05/2025 .After 7 months my wife and I noticed the coating coming off the pan supports revealing the metal underneath .I contacted candy hoover thinking they would be guaranteed .I was asked to provide details and photos which I did .They eventually got back to me saying we had used Abrasive materials to clean them . Now my wife and I have been cleaning various hobs and appliances for over 50 years , so we know what and what not to use for cleaning appliances .I emailed back and said that we felt quite insulted by their remarks and pointed out that only non Abrasive materials had been used .They didn't even bother to reply to me , so good for customer relations. In conclusion I think putting pans on and off is removing the inferior coating on these supports. Just another company wriggling out of their responsibilities.
Three motors needed on a tumbler 13 months old
Bought a candy tumble dryer in September 24. Only had it 5 weeks and the motor broke. Engineer came and replaced the motor. That motor lasted 3 months then broke. Another engineer came and replaced that. Now that motor has broke but candy won’t replace even though the engineer said there was a 12 month warranty on the motor. Tumble dryer is now at the tip. 3 motors needed in the space of 13 months

Recently bought a Candy CSE C9DF Tumble…
Recently bought a Candy CSE C9DF Tumble dryer.
Item bought at end October 2025 from Curry’s.
Don’t bother the item is not user friendly which goes the same to be said about Curry’s and Candy Customer Services. I rang Curry’s literally after a few days and explained the Tumble Dryer wasn’t user friendly and wasn’t suitable. Reason it wasn’t suitable the fact we couldn’t get it working. Downloaded the manual, searched tutorials, and tried to ask for help from Curry’s. They weren’t interested as the item technically broken. Which they fobbed us off and told us to Contact Candy. Candy have a WhatsApp messaging system which takes twenty minutes to use then be told no human advisors were available. Then when you try to contact them again you have to go through the whole messaging system again.
Our consumer rights doesn’t mean anything us less the item is broken. The smart tech we only found out once installed isn’t compatible to our phones. And useless piece of technology.
One star is too generous for both Curry’s and Candy. Avoid both if you can.
I bought a Product
I bought a Product: Washer Dryers - Candy - CSOW4856TWMBB680 - 3102013925090398 on 25th August 2025 at Currys, now the door gasket is broken - 2 months 2 weeks after buying it.
I rang Candy repairs, explained to the customer service person the door rubber gasket had split, it was obvious I needed a new one. She took my serial number and said would make sure the engineer would know ahead of the visit so I did not have to wait for a part.
The engineer turned up today and had not been told, he said the ame thing as I thought, broken door gasket... then said part was not in stock, had to be ordered and could take up to 21 days. I have been without a washikng machine for 6 days and now have to wait.
I am not happy with this washing machine OR the customer service person who lied to me. I requested a replacement and told I cannot get one as "currently wont be able to replace your appliance as we hold a repair warranty with yourself. We will need to wait for the parts to be delivered in order to repair your appliance." So I have no wasing machine.
I will never buy Candy again, a New washing machine appliance should not go wrong in 2 & half months.
Payed a bit extra to buy a heat pump…
Payed a bit extra to buy a heat pump tumble dryer to save money long term on energy bills. Unfortunately I bought a Candy. Condenser failure less than two years old. Engineer who diagnosed the fault stated it’s not worth fixing and advised me to take it on the chin, scrap it and buy a decent brand. He suggested Beko, Bosch, Indesit or Samsung depending on budget. I checked this site before making a decision. No brainier. Not even bothering trying to contact Candy. Not worth the time or stress. Lesson learned.
Waited in all day. No show
Had numerous emails and text saying engineer would be at mine between 11-1 waited in. No one showed up. Rang them was told parts not arrived even though it's been 8 days! Said surely engineer knew that before arranging time. Told engineer would call me. Have had no call and left in a black hoke now. Dont know when washer will be fixed
Washing machine is a terrible product…
Washing machine is a terrible product and works erratically at best. Motherboard failed after 3 months and replaced part has failed numerous times since and having to work between smart touch (only sometimes works) and manual interface on touch board failing every 2nd wash. Not good enough for the the money paid and I would highly recommend against getting one.
Utterly atrocious
Utterly atrocious
Utterly atrocious . Bought a new tumble dryer. Got a letter on 9th August saying “do not use - dryer is dangerous”. Then it has taken them until 2nd December to give us a date to replace the dangerous part.
Poor customer service
I received a safety notice on the 13-9-25 about the heat pump on my Candy tumble dryer and was told to unplug the machine until it was checked. I have contacted Candy on a weekly basis but they could not give me a date that my machine would be checked, I then got an e mail advising me that my information had been past on to Haier who would deal with the issue. Today I have been on the phone and chat line for 3 hours, have spoken to Candy, Haier, Pacifica and Domestic @ General, and the last person I spoke to at Haier told me I was on a list, and if I had not received a date for the safety check in 2 weeks I was to phone Candy again, and he gave me the phone number which I rang at 9am this morning, all I seem to be doing is going round in circles. Very poor customer service especially when the machine could likely be a fire risk, and the worst time of the year to be without a tumble dryer!

Had a 20k kitchen installed and couldn’t be happier…… except the fact my hotpoint was out of stock and they replaced it with a candy. What an absolute wreck of a brand. Sounds like a plane taking off in your kitchen! Had an engineer come out as it’s in warranty, only to tell me this is normal for the machine. Awful machine
We bought a new build house with candy…
We bought a new build house with candy hoover appliances in. Oven, hob, dishwasher. I have never found appliances so infuriating, the oven broke the first time it was used, then the hob a month later. The dishwasher does not clean properly so you have to put it on twice. The touch screen buttons are not reactive so you find yourself having to press hard every time you want to use the oven, the app is useless as well. Do yourself a favour and spend a bit more and buy NEFF or Bosch over this rubbish. Wouldn’t go near anything from this company again
AI is taking over
After having an issue with my new tumble dryer, I tried to reach customer support for some assistance but was instead put through to a 'digital chat bot', where I spent the majority of the conversation arguing with it over whether the 2nd of November this year being in the future as it claimed, which is was not as this was on the 7th November. I then still did not receive any kind of support or help, but rather was asked to rate the feedback I received on a scale of 1-5, in which I answered 0. Stop these clankers!!
New Candy washing machine only used it…
New Candy washing machine only used it 10 times broke down now got to wait for a week for part.. that's 2 weeks without a washer...it's brand new
Disgusting customer care.
Disgusting customer care.
I tried to register the appliance for warranty to find the online portal not in service.
I called and got a hard sell routine for an extended warranty.
When I declined she lost interest and wouldn't/couldn't give me confirmation the appliance was registered .
I complained but got further fobbed off why customer care who don't really care. They have your money so do one is their principle.
AVOID
Follow up to the 6.30-8.30am window to…
Follow up to the 6.30-8.30am window to repair a new washer - 80yo with Parkinsons and dementia forced out of bed to be ready for 6.30am, GUESS what no show from Engineer, so I rang CSD who wouldnt talk to me and requested I got authority from in law, when I put her on the call was ended and I immediately got the rate us follow up. The engineer who arrived well after 9 and knew nothing about the 6.30-8.30am window we had been given, lovely lad and I 100% believed him. Warranty and repairs - is it Domestic and General? - a total shambles and not fit for purpose, want to push the extended warranties though but I remembered my experience with a boiler a few years ago - more chance of plaiting sawdust.
I bought this candy washer dryer on…12/09/2025
I bought this candy washer dryer on 12/09/2023 and the drum paddle has come off. Candy wanted nearly £240.00 to come out and fix it even though it’s still working. I haven’t got their extended warranty and I am in the process of selling the house. I cannot afford to have it repaired so candy are very unhelpful unless I want to spend any money. They didn’t mention anything about the parts being covered at all. I would recommend against getting one of these machines. I notice that AO. Com have discontinued this model.
I bought a heat pump tumble dryer a few…
I bought a heat pump tumble dryer a few years ago, had a few messages & letters to say it’s a fire hazard & to unplug and don’t use, its now November and still haven’t had an engineer out, I’ve messaged the watsapp number multiple times to still be told your on the list & we are waiting for an appointment! Absolute joke! Especially when you have a family and need to use the appliance you paid good money for!!!! Don’t recommend at all. The service is absolutely shocking.
Candy service department absolutely rubbish!!
It will be 2 weeks without my fridge freezer, the engineer was due today, didn't turn up "couldn't find the address" now I have to wait another week for an engineer to maybe turn up!!
