Absolutely Ridiculous. Ordered an item online for click and collect two weeks ago and have heard nothing since. I have sent emails to customer services, received one back looking for more information... See more

I purchased a fridge and oven in store on the 30th of October. The oven that was delivered the first time was the incorrect size. I had to go back in store to reschedule this delivery and when they arrived, they delivered a gas oven not the model we had originally paid for.
I returned instore a third time to reschedule this and they ensured me they would deliver the correct oven with express delivery.
they called me and explained they would not be able to deliver the oven today as they were an hour away and had other deliveries to make and the store had given them the incorrect address.
I went back to store to reschedule the delivery where the staff did not seem to care that a month after paying for my oven it still had not been delivered successfully
I reached out to the customer care and complaints department after a few days they replied and said someone from the store would call me to resolve this issue. A team member called me and said I requested a call back. I explained everything that happened and the person on the phone said well even if it took a month it was good that I did get my oven. After 3 wrong attempts
Curry’s is the the worst company to buy from I regret not getting a refund and spending the money anywhere else.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!!!

Con job. I went into the Currys in Jervis Shopping Centre and asked if I could buy a Chromebook. The salesman checked it and told me there was non left in the store and it was just a display model. Then I asked him to ask to deliver the same. He asked me to pay straight away when there is NON. WHAT A CONJOB

I bought an integrated wash & dryer online (including installation service) and it was delivered a week later on 28th November 2025. The technicians installed the machine, turned it on for a full cycle test and left. After a few minutes the wash & dryer stopped. I've been trying to contact Currys customer service Ireland ever since. It's been hours on the phone going back & forth and I have a list of numbers for Currys I've been dialling in Ireland and even in the UK as suggested by Currys Ireland. I sent an email to customer services 2 days ago and I haven't received any reply from anyone yet (today, 08t/12/2025).
I live in Dublin Docklands and decided to take a day off to sort it out. I went to Currys Jervis Shopping Centre which asked me to go to Currys Blanchardstown. I went all the way to the shop in Blanchardstown and the only help I could get was a new email address I should contact and the confirmation that Currys Repair Service only answers to emails and it takes up to 2 weeks to get a reply.
At this stage I just want Currys to collect and refund me this wash & dryer so I can buy a new (working!) washing machine in a different shop.

Would have said 0 stars but it wasn’t an option. I bought a Flavel oven from Curry’s. First of all they got the measurement wrong. Turned out the measurement they gave me was with the packaging on! Who does that? So the cooker was 10cm too small which left a gap in my kitchen units. I was willing to work around this until 3 months in when the inside glass of the oven door exploded whilst cooking our Sunday roast! Into tiny pieces which obviously ruined our dinner. Luckily nobody was injured. Absolutely no help from Curry’s, who I expected to come running at me with a new oven and apologies. No such luck! I had to deal with the manufacturers myself ( though I didn’t buy the oven from them, I bought it from Curry’s) They are refusing to replace the oven, only repair it. Do not touch this oven with a barge pole!! In fact do not buy anything from Currys ever! I will never buy there again and will be spreading the word far and wide to anyone I know. I now have to accept a repair and wait until I have the money to buy a new oven.

Extremely dissapointed with the service they provided. A noghtmare to sort out the missing delivery. Ordered way in advance to be on time and i think it wont make it on time. Still waiting to get the money back. Worst experience with online shopping i have ever encountered. Online chat useless. Email contact useless. And phine its the same every time i call. Without resolving the issue.

Is there an option to give 0 stars? I have never encountered such a mess of a customer service, I don't understand why there is a customer service if they can't follow through with anything they say they will do. There seems to be issues with their system, confirming collection or drop offs of items ordered, whilst apologising profusely, unable to connect me to the 'escalation' team or managers. I will never in my life ever order anything online from Currys again. The items I purchased as Christmas gifts arrived in terrible condition, one box had the side of the box fully torn off, it came out of the package detatched and seperate to the box! I don't understand how it is so difficult to return something. This has and continues to be an absolutely awful experience.

I bought a washing machine from currys about two years ago, but it remained unused until recently because my old machine was still working. When I finally installed it, the machine powered on but none of the functions worked, so I was unable to use it at all.
I contacted the company to ask what could be done — whether a repair, exchange or refund was possible — but because of the time that had passed since purchase, I was told that nothing could be done. I understand there are warranty limits, but I was very disappointed that there was no support or willingness to help resolve the situation, especially considering the machine had never been used.
I expected better customer service and I now feel I paid for a product I never got to use. I would advise others to check items immediately after purchase, even if they are not needed right away.

case on Friday the 5th of December, I live about 3/4 of an hour away, got home to find out they sold me a 13" case, so l went back to the Blackpool branch and they exchanged for a 11" case waited in a cue of one person, for at least 10 mins, I asked is there another person who can serve me the reply was you'll have to wait in the cue, they showed no interest even though I told them of their mistake of their salesman and that l'd travelled an hour to get to the store and l've another hour to get
back home, I was very annoyed , when I got home and attempted to but the case on the iPad, it was still wrong i9, l've attempted to contact by phone but no way of getting in touch with the store, I will have to travel back again to the store and get them to exchange for one that fits the iPad that they sold me, to say I'm Annoyed is an understatement, I will not be using them again, and I'll be advising others to do the same

I contacted Curry’s on several occasions over the past 10 days regarding this product- Hotpoint washing machine- which has stopped working after 16 months. No display and no power.
On Thursday 27th November '25 at 12.34pm, I spoke to Emily who told me to expect an exchange email in the next 24-48 hours. Nothing. On Monday at 3.23 pm I again spoke to an agent who told me that the exchange was live and to expect an exchange email in the next 24-48 hours, again nothing. Yesterday, Wednesday at 1.49pm I was left on hold for 35 minutes.
This service is absolutely abysmal . I’m certainly not finished with this and am going to contact Ombudsman and The Complaints Bureau on RTE.
Still hoping for a solution to this from Curry’s . I am aware of my Consumer Rights on this issue….

Would give 0 stars if possible, as 0 is the amount of customer support I received. Contacted them over 2 weeks ago about a faulty laptop. When they finally did reply, they promised me an update within 72 hours (3 days). That was over 6 days ago now. Absolutely useless, I've been left without use of a working laptop, and my follow up emails have been ignored. It's interesting to know that promises from this company's "customer service" team, don't mean anything. AVOID

I ordered a JBL microphone set online, but they sent me an HDMI cable instead. I filed a complaint immediately thru phone and after 7 days the so-called “investigation” is still dragging on with no answers. At this point, it really feels like this company just stole €99 from me in broad daylight.

I called to cancel my curry's order as I wanted to collect from a more local store & was told the collection could not be transferred to a different store. Only option was to cancel & re-order. I was told my refund would be in the form of payment (e-gift card) would be returned to me via email within 24hrs-48hrs. Subsequently I received an email 24hrs later as confirmation that my order was cancelled & that i will receive my physical gift card within 3-5 working days. I called customer services again & was told by your representative Nox that despite there being a note for the refund to be on a e-gift card this was not actioned and instead a physical card has been issued. I explained if i knew this was the only option for the refund i would not have cancelled my original order and as a result I have now missed out on the offer for the item I wanted to purchase. I asked to speak to a manager who was not available & was told I would receive a call back within 2hrs which i never did.

Only for there is not an option to give zero stars is the reason they got one star.
Absolutely horrendous service. Bought a fridge freezer which did not work on arrival was told I needed an uplift number from the manufacture. Over a week trying to get the number finally received it this morning to be told when I rang that it wasn’t needed. Got cut off in the phone because of long waiting times and having to go back to work after lunch I was still waiting for collection date for the item.
All of this after stating my son has special needs and I require a fridge because his food has to be temperature controlled. They didn’t care and still don’t. Appalling service to say the least…
From a very concerned customer which now has to try get the money back to purchase a new fridge freezer

ordered a phone and 2 months of wrong items delivered, returned, phone-calls, emails, then silence, incompetence and lies and nonsense - one of the most bizarre orders I've ever had to misfortune to be involved in - & just been told that the item isn't available, but they can't refund my money as the order is processed ........- Currys is an absolute sham company

Ordered an item in store and paid for it online there in the store. Cancelled the item before I received it and I was advised to not accept the item from DPD. Curry's warehouse received it back 2 days later (22nd of November) and I am still waiting on my refund which apparently only takes 3-5 working days. I have made numerous phone calls and am being told the refund will be issued. 550 euro is a lot of money to be waiting on at this time of year. I am now so worried the refund will not be issued this side of Christmas after reading all these bad reviews of poor customer service. Never shopping here again.

Am I not angry, frustrated, disappointed and stressed trying to make telephone contact this afternoon with Currys customer service/support concerning an order of a laptop, I made and paid for 12 days ago. Customers are advised to contact Currys, Letterkenny on 0818 440001 for customer service/support concerning an update enquiry on an order. I rang this number five times and was cut off each time. I might as well be ringing the local cemetery. Shocking customer service/support. Why cannot Currys, Letterkenny offer the customer service/support you get from Ben Sweeney Euronics, Callaghan Euronics, Donaghy Brothers or Irwin Expert? All top class electrical outlets in Letterkenny often and consistently offering better deals than Currys. If I had read Currys reviews on Trustpilot I would have shunned their store like the plague. Please shoppers read reviews on Trustpilot before you purchase anything you require. I will Never shop in Currys again .???? I belatedly read Currys reviews this evening and the replies from Currys and all I can say is poor Tracy needs a rise in pay, the poor woman is ran off her feet 🤬🤬🤬
