Yodel is by far the most unreliable delivery company I’ve dealt with. They claimed they “attempted delivery” and had “no access to the property,” yet no one ever rang the flat or even tried to wait for someone to answer. I was home for the entire delivery window, and there was zero attempt made.
Their drivers don’t ring, don’t wait, and don’t even bother trying. Complete waste of time and incredibly frustrating. Avoid at all costs.
Agents? More of like bots or human bots. Not helpful at all.

For the second day running a (different) Yodel driver tried to deliver the same package to my house - which was not the address on the package. Both drivers evidently could not read English and were just following the postcode on the label. As it is a country postcode the area covered is large and they just turn into the house nearest where their GPS tells them the postcode is. Tonight's attempt included a second package which was for a close neighbour who has a metre square sign on the roadside (which the driver drove straight past - as they blindly follow the postcode/ GPS).
I suspect both drivers were illegals who should not be working and may not even have UK driving licences.
They dont want to deliver?
I got an email saying a failed delivery was attempted on the 5th on Friday? I checked my ring doorbell it captured nothing and no door bell was rung.
On Monday I contacted and asked if its being delivered today, they said yes. I waited until 8:30 and contacted again, they then said they were raising it and I will be contacted 24 hours later. 24 Hours later I was never contacted so I messaged them I then hear that "Upon checking, I can see that your parcel was handed back by the courier on the 7th and is currently at the depot so I kindly request that you either collect it from there or contact your sender for further assistance"
They never attempted to deliver the package yet they're requesting I go to the depot? Lazy, and the worst delivery company in the UK

Ordered dog food from a good quality supplier pick my slot Tuesday to Thursday. Tuesday arrived and yodel immediately rescheduled to the following Monday. Monday arrived but parcel didn’t stated driver could not find address. That a first in ten years or more than like a delivery driver scam as he had to walk 50 meters with a parcel. Rearrange for next day so be sure I did not get a repeat I redirected to Yodel pick up point One Stop Shop open until ten pm. At 1pm today got a message saying please contact yodel chat there is an issue with your delivery. Contacted Yodel. Ask what the issue was and told they didn’t know but it would be delivered to my address. Asked why they didn’t follow redirect instructions and they just said no idea and said sorry. It is now 8pm so contacted yodel again. Now being told will arrive tomorrow have no faith that it will. Contacting supplier cancelling order and asking for a refund. Yodel three delivery slots and dishonest lazy drivers easier to say can’t find address than carry a parcel 50 meters. If your purchase involves Yodel delivery I suggest you think again

Had a parcel to be collected from my home, was given a timeslot of 17:20 -19:20
Was eventually told by an advisor that the collection had been rescheduled to tomorrow. When I explained that I would not be available tomorrow for a collection all i kept getting told was dont worry we will collect tomorrow. 🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😠 Customer service is a joke they do not address your concerns, 1st time of using Yodel collection service and will most definitely be the last. Even 1 star is to much to give
No option to talk to a human.
I had 3 parcels supposedly out for delivery, they got to being one stop away, then nothing, tracking wasn't updated for over 18 hours.
Webchat wasn't working, & they only have an automated phone system with no option to speak to somebody. No easily visible email address.
I found what looked like a FB, Yodel Support Page, which was run by scammers.
Eventually tracking updated & I got two of my parcels 2 days later, the third with attempted delivery, one minute after the previous two I was apparently not in. It did turn up 2 days later via the regular driver for the route.
I did contact InPost (the parent company) via email, with details of the scam page.
Still no response & the scam FB page is still running.
DO NOT USE THEM FOR LARGE ITEMS
I sold some furniture on Vinted for the first time and Yodel van couriers came to collect the items. All items were packaged in bubble wrap and carboard, with large "Fragile" labels attached.
One item was left unattended on the doorstep of the buyer's house and badly damaged (I was sent photos from the buyer once he had retrieved it) another item I was told was badly damaged (only told by Yodel but given no proof) and a third has completely disappeared. No explanation and no opportunity to claim on the insurance. I believe the last two items have been stolen by the couriers, otherwise why would they not at least send photos.
I would like to add that I have used the InPost lockers on numerous occasions and I have never had a problem. This problem is only with the furniture items and the man-handling of the couriers.

Had a parcel due today
Had a parcel due today, was home all day waiting and didn’t turn up within time frame of it being due, got a notification after an hour saying it had been delivered but shows picture proof of a warehouse not my property. Called to speak to customer service and lady on the phone was yawning while I was speaking. Very unprofessional
They had one job!
I'm shocked they can't manage to deliver a parcel and furthermore not be contactable by phone.
Their live chat agents changed their minds multiple times about whether my parcel had been delivered or was still on its way.
So much for offering collection from a parcel shop, when they won't accept the parcel due to lack of space.
Very disappointed in a company which I feel is most incompetent.
Rubbish don't use
Yodel we're supposed to deliver today checked the app and they are 8 miles away and I was the next deluvery guess what some lazy driver couldn't be bothered to drive out here and all I get now is contact seller absolutely useless . If your a retailer and you value your customers don't use this lot !!!

Worse service ever!
Absolutely shocking service and customer service! Order a parcel from Hawestone’s brewery and they use Yodel! Limited communication from Yodel to when my delivery would be, the first email I had was on Saturday to say they would be delivering as when they had tried the day before no one was in (it’s a business address and we were in) so waited in watched via the app the driver get closer and closer then all of a sudden the live tracking disappeared and it said, attempted delivery, not in and to choose another day! Tried calling to say yet again I was in but there had been no delivery! Could not speak to an actual human all I got offered via automated response was to rebook, so I did for Monday! Then the next time I checked my updates it said they would deliver Tuesday (so not the day I chose!) come Tuesday again tracking working I was watching the driver get closer then bam! The same as Saturday! It disappeared and yet again said they attempted delivery and I would now have to travel 28 miles to their depot to collect it! I don’t drive!!! Again couldn’t get through to anyone on the phone on their chat service via the app where the person on the other end was worse than useless! So now left in limbo as have no parcel (yes it’s a Xmas gift) and no help from yodel what so ever! Avoid this company like the plague
Yodel drop off network isn't working
Yodel drop off network isn't working. Tried two shops and both refused to take the package, stating that drivers weren't taking medium to large sized packages. When I tried to contact Yodel, it was impossible as I didn't have the required details because the order was only half returned. Luckily, the retailer was brilliant and arranged for another and superior courier to collect.

Yet another clown delivery company that cannot follow basic instructions as given in my settings ie put in Outbuilding next to front door ,instead dumped on doorstep in full view of public and in the rain,did not know package was sent by Yodel or would not have bought from company avoid ,consistantly useless.
Another lost parcel
Another lost parcel or two now missing in the ether. Hours on chat with little results. Item lost between van and store - contacted yodel who told me to go and collect it. I made it clear there was nothing to collect. No result.
Waste of time
Ive booked and been told collection would be between 7 am and 9 pm,waited for the entire day and nobody attended . On the same very day 2 parcels were due for delivery and been left with a neighbour.
Tried countless to get in touch with someone both chat and phone and theis robotic machine was waste of time too.

Avoid this company. My parcel was delivered to absolute wrong address, make an enquiry and still nothing. Customer service useless, no phone number, just a chat option with empty promises. Avoid.

Driver definitely stole my parcel and customer service takes no responsibility. Complaints procedure and web chat is purposely unaccessible. Worst service I've ever experienced. I hate this company 0 stars
Worst delivery company service
Worst delivery company service I’ve ever used.
When I first used yodel, my delivery was almost 2 weeks late. I then decided I’d give the company the benefit of the doubt and nope! Two of my parcels have not arrived and it’s been 11 days almost.
Also my nan ordered something a while ago and they just left the parcel at the door instead of in a safe place like they’re told. Luckily I live in a particularly safe area so it wasn’t stolen. 🤦♀️
I’m going to avoid this company from now on and use Royal Mail since they’re always on time.
