Improved job offers

Improvement

new-job-offers.png

Today we’re introducing a couple of updates to job offers in Teamtailor.

Firstly, job offers now integrate with custom fields, letting you add reusable, pre-populated fields from the job, the candidate, or the new job offer custom field type — all configurable in your custom fields settings.

Secondly, we’ve redesigned the job offer modals and restructured their content for better flow and improved readability. We also took the opportunity to update the job offer message composer, using our new and improved text editor.

But we’re not stopping there, we have a few more improvements planned for job offers that will make the offer creation even more seamless. Stay tuned.

Separate notification setting for candidate referrals

Improvement

User can now control referral notifications independently from other candidate notifications. A new notification setting, “Candidate is referred by an employee”, has been added to user notification preferences.

What’s changed

Previously:

General referrals were tied to “Candidate connects with your company”.

Job-specific referrals were included in “Candidate applies for a job”.

Now: All referral notifications have dedicated settings. Job-specific referrals notify the job’s recruiter and hiring team based on this new referral setting.

Who receives referral notifications ?

General referrals: Company admins and recruitment admins

Job-specific referrals: Job recruiter, job team members, and their team members

Email notifications for referrals are enabled by default.

The Division Admin Role

New

For companies using the Divisions add-on, we are excited to introduce Division Admin: a new user role designed to distribute management of divisions in a secure way.

How it works

A Division Admin has the same management permissions as a Company Admin, but their access is limited to the specific divisions they oversee. They can manage the following for their assigned divisions:

Employees, Candidates, Jobs, Career Sites, Templates and Assets in general, and Groups, besides being also allowed to manage the Divisions themselves, their departments and branding. All the Analytics data related to their divisions is also visible for the Division Admins.

Key Benefits

  • Enhanced Privacy: Admins only see data related to their own divisions.
  • Operational Speed: Local managers can handle their own hiring and updates without needing a global admin.
  • Simplified Experience: Users focus only on the information that is relevant to their specific business unit.

✏️ Write with confidence. What you see is what you truly get.

Improvement

Job descriptions are one of the most important parts of any job listing—and now one of the most reliable. We’ve upgraded the Teamtailor text editor to ensure that what you write is exactly what candidates see. The new editor enforces clean, correct markup, so your job ads always appear polished, consistent, and free from broken layouts or unexpected formatting.

With better handling of pasted content, built-in tools to remove unwanted styles and support for valid HTML when you need more control, the new editor gives you confidence at every step. Whether you’re writing from scratch, drafting with Copilot, or fine-tuning details as an expert user, you can focus on the content - knowing the formatting will take care of itself.

Built for consistency and reliability

The new editor is standards-compliant and predictable by design. That means:

  • What you see in the editor is exactly what applicants see on your career site
  • No unexpected layout shifts or styling issues
  • A stable, future-proof foundation for your job descriptions

Cleaner pastes, fewer surprises

Pasting text from Word, Google Docs, or similar tools often brings along unwanted formatting. With the new Remove styles option, you can strip away unnecessary fonts, colors, and spacing—keeping only the content that matters and ensuring a consistent look across all job ads.

For expert users: full HTML control

For those who need more flexibility, the editor includes an HTML view. This allows you to apply custom or advanced styling while staying confident that the markup is valid, clean, and won’t break your job ad.

Co-pilot is still here

You don’t have to start from a blank page. Draft with Co-pilot is still available, helping you quickly create job descriptions in the writing style of your other job ads.

Everything you’d expect from a great editor

All the essentials are included: headings, formatting, lists, links, and more—now wrapped in an editor that’s faster, more stable, and easier to trust.

Introduce yourself with Recruiter Video Questions.

New

If we ask candidates to record videos of themselves, it is only fair that recruiters can do the same. Now you can add short video prompts (recorded or uploaded) directly in the job application form, helping candidates feel more connected to the people behind the process. A brief introduction often elicits more thoughtful and personal responses from applicants.

What is new? In the ATS Job application, in the question settings modal, you will find a new option: attach video.

Users can record a video directly or upload an existing video from their device. Videos are currently scoped to the specific job, and the regular text title is still available as a fallback. If you want to reuse the same video elsewhere, download it and attach it to another job’s question.

On the Career Site, candidates will now see the recruiter’s video question embedded directly in the application form. It gives them a clearer sense of who they are talking to and helps set the tone for a more balanced, human interaction.

Simplify scheduling: meet candidates without an email

Improvement

Sometimes you find the perfect candidate, but you don't have their email address yet. Previously, this stopped you from scheduling an interview. Today, we are removing that friction.

What’s new? You can now use the Book Meetings feature for any candidate, regardless of whether they have an email registered in the system. This update applies to both the ATS and the Sourcing Extension.

  • How it works: If the candidate has no email, simply create the meeting as usual. At the end, we will generate a unique invite link.

  • Share anywhere: You can copy this link and send it via LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp, or any other channel you are using to chat with the candidate.

Note: For candidates who do have a registered email, nothing changes since they will continue to receive the automatic email invitation.

Book Meetings directly from the Sourcing Extension

New

You can now schedule screening calls and interviews directly while browsing candidate profiles, streamlining your workflow without needing to switch tabs back to the ATS.

The Sourcing Extension offers a simplified version of the booking feature, pre-filled with your default calendar preferences for speed.

How to book a meeting

  • Open the Sourcing Extension on a candidate's profile.

  • Click the Book meeting button.

  • Choose your preferred scheduling method:

    • Self schedule: Send a form allowing the candidate to pick a slot that works for them.
    • Select time: Manually select a specific date and time for the meeting.
  • Review the details and send.

Note: Because this is designed for speed, it uses your default calendar settings. If you need to configure complex settings for a specific meeting, we recommend using the full booking form in the ATS.

Location-based data and privacy settings

New

Add local policy

Companies operating in multiple countries can now configure country-specific settings for candidate permissions and automatic data deletion.

Different countries have different data protection rules. Until now, you had to either use multiple Teamtailor accounts or apply one global policy that might break local laws.

Now you can set up country-specific policies that automatically apply based on which locations candidates apply or connect to. Your default global settings work as a fallback for countries without specific rules.

This is an add-on feature that needs to be activated by a company admin. Read more in our support article.

Include assessment in evaluation of Job match scores

New

Map assessment criteria to scorecard skills or traits

When you set up a trigger with one of our assessment partners they can now include more detailed assessment criteria. If they have updated their integration to take advantage of that, you can decide to automatically include assessment results in the evaluation of Job match scores by mapping the assessment criteria from the partner to the skills or traits that are part of the job's evaluation profile.

Test results will then automatically create a scorecard alongside your other scorecards or interview feedback. You'll still be able to see the test results as a separate section on the candidate card, with a link to see the full report in the partner's app.

Our first partner to implement this is HI Assessments. You can read more about their integration with Teamtailor here.
