Refused to allow cancellation of a trip…
Refused to allow cancellation of a trip day before or offer refund due to a flare up in a disability I have. I asked them to make a reasonable adjustment and they refused. Booking reference was GYGVN3K6YFY5 for validation.
Overpriced, disorganised and overall disgusting
The tour was disorganised, no actual guide throughout and no timings so waited for ages for some people. The guide in the cave was average, gave the bare minimum info and at the end we were left in a town with no idea how to get back to the car park, she literally just left. As a solo traveler this was a bit nerve wracking.
It was massively overpriced as caves tour was about 1/3 tour price and no way the short transfer in a packed bus cost over £20pp.
I have used Get Your Guide before and it was good, this was a terrible experience and such a shame as was looking forward to this trip. I would look for other ways to do the salt mine, it’s probably alot less stress actually doing it yourself.

This being my first time in Delhi and traveling alone, I decided to join this tour.
The guide took me to well-planned tourist spots for a half-day course and provided thorough explanations.
The car was clean and air conditioned, comfortable and guides were very kind.
We went to old Delhi mainly which I was told by my local friend not to go by myself because of my safety, so I was happy with only this point I could make it. It was a fantastic experience to go around the local market with riding a cycle rickshaw, felt the local breeze and it’s chaotic but lively culture. The only downside was I wanted to shop at real local stores for the spices not at souvenir shop for tourists. However, the price for this tour itself is reasonable and overall I’m satisfied. Thank you very much, Mehboob and his colleague.
Confusing getting info from different organisations
Watch out booking with this organization. In case you have an issue they are very difficult to get hold off. Furthermore I found it confusing to receive emails from them and the operator for the trip you booked. You tend to overlook important information with all these emails.

It was realy easy to get the 72h-Tourist-ticket. There is an automat on the airport. So you can go immediately to the metro.
GetYourGuide Protects Rule Violators and Ignores Verified Evidence
As a professional tourism operator, I am extremely concerned by how GetYourGuide enforces (or fails to enforce) its own rules.
I reported a clear and documented violation involving a supplier operating two different accounts under the same legal entity, something that GetYourGuide explicitly prohibits.
I provided GetYourGuide with:
• Direct links to both supplier accounts
• Screenshots of the Legal Notice sections
• Identical legal data (company name, address, managing director, VAT number)
GetYourGuide publicly replied on Trustpilot asking for the evidence —
I emailed everything exactly as requested.
And yet, nothing happened.
Both supplier accounts are still active, still selling, and still benefiting from unfair exposure — despite undeniable proof of rule violation.
This raises a serious question for travelers and partners alike:
👉 If GetYourGuide ignores such obvious violations when all evidence is provided, how can customers trust the platform’s “verified” suppliers at all?
This is not about one company.
This is about:
• Selective enforcement of rules
• A lack of transparency
• And a platform that appears unwilling to act when violations involve large or favored suppliers
A marketplace that does not apply its rules equally cannot be considered neutral or trustworthy.
I am posting this review to warn travelers and suppliers:
Do not assume that “policies” on GetYourGuide are actually enforced.
Trust should be earned through action — not automated replies.

Lying scammers
Paid for skip the queue tickets to Auschwitz with 5am pick up. Very expensive. For them to tell us pick up would be 2am as they’re not actually skip the queue tickets and we’re expected to stand in line until 8 when it opens! We’re now down £500 on flights we had changed to visit!! Disgraceful liars making money from a tragedy!

Serious Transparency Violation by Emo Tours Egypt
I recently discovered that Emo Tours Egypt is operating two separate supplier accounts on GetYourGuide:
• Emo Tours Egypt (ID 2090)
• Egypt Nile Felucca (ID 366060)
Both accounts use the exact same legal company name, address, VAT number, and managing director.
This is a clear violation of GetYourGuide’s policies and creates an unfair competitive environment for other suppliers.
Customers deserve honesty and transparency, not companies hiding behind multiple identities to gain extra visibility.
I am posting this review to protect travelers and to urge GetYourGuide to take immediate action.

Absolute shambles
If I could give this service a zero then I would.
We booked the Amsterdam Magical Light Cruise. We arrived in reasonable time, but the organisation was absolute chaos. We asked various people where we should be and one sent us to the other side of the canal. On the other side again everyone denied all knowledge and sent us back to the other side, where a young lad in a red jacket denied all knowledge of the company and said and “besides you’re too late now”. At one stage we were even seated on a boat, only to be told after settling down, this was the wrong company. No surprise as we’d been sent from pillar to post we missed the excursion. I’m really disappointed in “Get Your Guide” as the instructions, directions and customer service for this service was poor. The people in the “red jackets” who were supposed to be our contact points denied all knowledge of the company.
Do not use !!!!!
