If I could give this service a zero then I would.
We booked the Amsterdam Magical Light Cruise. We arrived in reasonable time, but the organisation was absolute chaos. We asked various people where we should be and one sent us to the other side of the canal. On the other side again everyone denied all knowledge and sent us back to the other side, where a young lad in a red jacket denied all knowledge of the company and said and “besides you’re too late now”. At one stage we were even seated on a boat, only to be told after settling down, this was the wrong company. No surprise as we’d been sent from pillar to post we missed the excursion. I’m really disappointed in “Get Your Guide” as the instructions, directions and customer service for this service was poor. The people in the “red jackets” who were supposed to be our contact points denied all knowledge of the company.
Do not use !!!!!

Using “Get Your Guide” is great. They post lots of different activities In and around the area you will be in. Lots of choices with different pricing so it really is up to you when you choose.

Paying is simple and secure. If there are any issues or questions it is easy to get help the them or directly from the organiser through them.

This account is operating under a false or misleading business identity and managed by an individual who is not a properly registered company. Locally, the information available indicates that the person controlling this supplier profile obtained access by purchasing the supplier account through an illegal supplier account market in Agadir, linked to Abdellah Bahmane, who is widely known in the area for dealing in GetYourGuide supplier accounts. If an account can be bought and resold like this, then the identity shown on your platform no longer reflects the real operator behind the tours, which destroys the purpose of supplier verification.
What makes this even more concerning is that the person behind the account is using the legal company name “Abdelilah Elbellaj” in the profile, which gives the appearance of legitimacy and official registration. If this legal entity does not actually exist as a registered and compliant tour company, then this is not just a small detail or a misunderstanding. It is a serious misrepresentation that can mislead customers and your internal teams about who is responsible for the activity, who holds insurance, who employs the drivers and guides, and who is legally accountable if an incident happens.
Allowing an unverified or non registered operator to sell tours on your platform places your customers at risk. It also puts GetYourGuide’s reputation at risk, because customers trust that suppliers are properly verified and accountable. If the real operator is hidden behind a purchased account and a questionable legal name, then there is a real danger of safety failures, lack of insurance coverage, lack of permits, and inability to hold anyone responsible when something goes wrong.

The experience was very good. The guide was very helpful and friendly. The visit to the prison island, and sand bank was amazing. The stone town tour was also very interesting.
Everything was well organised and planned, felt safe all the time.

We really like this company and have enjoyed many excursions with your guides. From Rome, to Paris & now Vienna recently.
It is easy to browse the app or website, find your excursion and book. There is plenty of choice, dates & times. Choice of pay now or later. The voucher, meeting point, and any information is all available on the app. We will definitely use again & again.

Get your Guide is a company i can highly recommend..

Used get your guide in different countries on a few occasions now. Easy booking process and good communication before during and after events. Good if you like to plan ahead. Always felt safe as a solo female traveller. The tours can be a little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. All the guides I have used have been reliable, informative and fully licensed. The company clearly put a lot of effort into selecting high quality freelance guides. Thank you for the great days out in Italy, Ireland and Egypt.

Get your Guide is my first option to search for an activity in any city I have visited. Never failed me!

Booked three events. All worked out as expected.

The tour we booked was a complete joke from start to finish. Firstly, we were told to book our own castle tickets. We emailed to enquire about time slots and receive no response, so we booked the closest ones. Then we received a WhatsApp messge late at night before the excursion letting us know the departure time would be an hour and a half later. We almost missed the bus as it picked up across the road from the marked pickup point we were sent on the map, then got soaked standing in a queue to get on while inept tour guides spent ages sorting everyone out.

Then they changed the schedule so we visited Brasov last. We were told we would need to pay our guide even more money for Peles entry since our tickets were timed slots and she could upgrade these to all day. At the time, we assumed this upgraded our Bran Castle tickets to all day tickets too and she was very unclear about this.

Arriving at Bran after queueing for 40 minutes in heavy rain, we were told our tickets were invalid. We explained the tour time had changed, and I had even emailed Bran earlier and they'd said we could use the tickets 3 hours either side of the booking window. We were there 3 hrs 20 mins late. The guy at the gates was rude and told us no entry, go buy more tickets and queued again. Since we already spent 180 lei, we weren't going to do this. Our tour guide was right there at the entrance gate, next to the ticketing guy. She didn't argue our case or communicate with him, or help in any way, simply avoided eye contact with us.

We had to leave and spent the next hour in a cafe waiting for the coach departure time. Since this was a special trip to celebrate, this ruined our experience.

Finally, because they made the decision to arrive in Brasov last, rather than second in the itinerary, it was dark and almost 5pm by arrival time. Everything was closed, or closing. We were unable to see the town at its most beautiful and the pouring rain meant we were freezing. Hardly anything was open so we ended up in KFC to keep warm.

I had been so excited to see Brasov and this just ruined it.

The only good part of the trip was Peles Castle and even that was poorly organised.

Overall this was expensive, poorly organised, a rude tour guide (Stefania), and lack of communication throughout.
We would not book via Get Your Guide again.

I always use this company when travelling and they are very professional, prompt and reliable, great customer service and communication.

Our guide Horge was great and gave a lot of advices and knowledge to us.

Using GetYourGuide was easy. There was loads of info to help decide which trips we should go on, and all we're competitively priced. The fact that the payments can be deferred until 48 hours prior to the trip is really good, as they can be cancelled if you see bad weather. The companies used were excellent. A really good experience.

Mistakes on their pages are not corrected, and no contact is possible.
On the page "best art museums in Lisbon", links are not working, and Gulbenkian, their first choice, is closed for more than half a year. ALWAYS check if their informations are correct.

Use GetYourGuide in every country I've been to this year. It is easy to use very informative. Highly recommend for travel to do's. Easy apt to use.

NOT AT ALL RECOMMEND!!!
We booked a tour in Naples for the last day of our honeymoon, we received an email at 23:24 the night before saying that the tour is canceled due to insufficient participants- we were supposed to leave around 7:30.
Customer service had ZERO empathy or solutions. we had to book a similar tour for almost double the price. cancellations can happen, the timing of notice, the lack of solutions provided by the app and the lack of empathy did it for us. WE ARE NOT RECOMMENDING!

Edit:
They reached out after we gave them bad reviews, but technically did nothing... I spent my time writing again everything that happened to a representative (just like the one who replied down here) and the message was answered by a totally different representative. This time they were full of empathy but nothing more.
So if you are hurt by one of their service providers this is all you can count on (after you write a bad revidw of course)
