Kennesaw State’s Center for Statistics and Analytical Research houses the Equifax Data Science Research Lab, thanks to a research grant from Equifax. Central to the lab’s mission is investigating business challenges and opportunities created by non-traditional sources and types of data, with the overarching objective to improve Equifax's customer experience.

The lab utilizes cutting edge techniques and methodologies including Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Facial Recognition, and Deep Learning to address these challenges and opportunities. The lab employs a faculty supervisor and four Ph.D. students from the Ph.D. program in Analytics and Data Science.
