The WellStar Data Science Research Lab’s mission is the development of a research program embedded within a community healthcare system. The lab utilizes traditional statistical techniques found in medical research such as survival analysis as well as cutting-edge techniques and methodologies including Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics. The lab employs a faculty supervisor and a graduate student studying analytical sciences.
