The JR pass is excellent and we didn’t had any issues. But the sim card internet is mostly too slow even for simple navigation, it fails to load in your most critical time, too slow, and unreliable.

Easy to purchase rail pass, lots of useful information on site. Only downside is getting pass after paying for voucher, a lot of congestion at railway office.

Friendly and quick customer service. Even when I made a mistake and had to get tickets re-issued the process was easy to follow and quickly addressed.

For such an expensive card, it should be laminated and not paper. To charge almost $100 for a replacement is unfair.
