Unfair permanent ban with no chance to respond

I recently created a Vinted account to clear out my wardrobe, listing only items I personally own. Suddenly, my account was permanently banned—apparently due to one item I bought over 10 years ago in an optical store. I even included photos and the original certificate. I don’t understand how such a harsh decision can be made with no warning or chance to explain. I acted in good faith and followed the rules. I truly hope Vinted will reach out and reconsider. This feels extremely unfair and unprofessional.

Sellers do not have any protection…

Sellers do not have any protection against parcels that are not picked up by buyer in time. This basically means that as a buyer you Can just not Pick up your parcell if you regret and get a full refund White it is just bad luck for seller. How you will feel if you are seller

How you will feel if you are seller and you try to sell expensive item and it’s properly sendes out to customer and then customer send few pictures which it’s totally visible as transport damage and everything together with package is just smash…
Afterwords you get nothing, totally nothing, after sending few times messages to “support” finally you get answer that it’s Vinted final decision in that case and actually you are guilty that product was not properly send by seller and you will not get ANY compensation and even ANY damage item which has been damaged by transport.
Assume, you send item which somebody destroy on way to customer or could be even a customer and customer get free item because it’s your fault! brainless politic and totally unfair treatment for sellers.

Add the filter for countries

I think there are a lot to improve. I personally don't like the way the app works regarding contacting them about an issue. There is no email or phone support available and makes me a bit worried and unsafe. But there is something they should add to the app. They should have a filter for countries so you can choose where you would like to buy your product. There are A LOT, I mean A LOT of people from Poland selling counterfeit products. I would like to be able to choose Denmark for instance.

No fair returns & no buyers protection -

I have tried to purchase a pair of standard jeans but was disappointed with the product I received.

The jeans are extremely frayed and acid washed at the hem without being only one hem line stitch. Not at all what they look like in the photo, nor was there a description to note the style. To me they looked like regular hemmed jeans.

I think it was fair to request a return to the seller so I asked the seller but he kept trying to point me to the Levi’s website to photos that weren’t in the listing or the “make of the jeans” to show it’s a normal hem. I still continue to explain to him I didn’t buy with these photos of the description of the jeans for sale (otherwise I wouldn’t have bought them as I want standard style jeans not extremely distressed hems).

In the end Vinted favoured the seller.

I feel completely unsupported on this platform.

I feel like I as a seller give measurements and fill up the photos with as many as possible. I know that’s not how it works for everyone but I feel at the very least a return would have been a reasonable outcome because there is a disatisifed customer and I was willing to pay for the return.

I can’t say I will be using their platform any longer as it’s not the first time I have felt disappointed with the Vinted’s practices and the outcomes that affect me on their platform.

The most horrible customer service I have ever come across, no possibility to select which country/city to buy from, strange processes. I sent an offer for an item, the seller accepted, and a few hours later, I see that the item had been sold to someone else. When I asked the seller, he said that the money hadn't been sent so someone else could go in and buy it. Shouldn't that go automatically if I make an offer that is accepted. Or do they expect me to non-stop check the app?

Vinted holds users responsible for courier’s mistake – and refuses to reimburse shipping
I sent two parcels with the correct Vinted shipping labels, but the courier (DAO) mixed them up. Both buyers agreed to return the items, yet Vinted forced me to pay return shipping. On top of that, neither I nor the buyers were reimbursed for the original shipping costs – even though the mistake was 100% on the courier. Vinted took no responsibility and offered no real support. Completely unacceptable.

they enable scammers

Use this website if you want people to be able to scam you and vinted will happily help the people scamming you do so.
I sold a jacket never worn, the buyer claimed the jacket they received had holes and because they had pictures of another jacket which had clearly been worn for multiple years, I was not paid. I will never use vinted again. I have even been warned by friends and family against these scammers, so it is not an uncommon thing! Please be careful. I have to sell one more item, and I will be sure to film the whole process of packing it at proof that the item is as written in my page.

Do not buy the items from this platform. So obvious that a lot of the sell items there are fake. I bought the item and want to return and get refund as it is a fake item. i sent the prove comparing the real and the fake item to the seller. at the end the seller accept the return but i have to pay the postage label to sent it back to the seller.
