Easy to freeze and unfreeze accounts.

I really expected a credit report, but got a rating. Reports cost extra.

Experian’s credit freeze process is straightforward and user-friendly. However, their dispute resolution procedures are deeply flawed.
My credit report inaccurately shows an outstanding balance of several thousand dollars on one of my credit card accounts, despite their own payment records showing a $0 balance since August. I attempted to dispute this, but the process was frustratingly rigid. There was no option to explain the issue in detail because the website only allows preprogrammed responses that don’t reflect the nature of the problem.
Experian’s reply was simply to refer me back to the credit card issuer—even though their own documentation contradicts the reported balance. They continue to maintain the incorrect amount, which is misleading and unacceptable.
Experian needs to improve its dispute process by allowing users to submit clear explanations and by taking responsibility for correcting errors based on their own data.

I really enjoy the freeze option. It gives me a sense of extra security.

There's so many scams and fraud going on that is very important to activate credit freeze for peace of mind. Experian does take good care of that!

My experience is always positive dealing with Experian and I like what they're doing in the credit market space.

I appreciate the ability to protect my credit with a 'freeze'. The process for performing this step with Experian was simple and information on the website is informative and helpful.

Really Appreciate the security freeze! Have had several attempts at someone trying to access my credit or my personal information. And because of my freeze, My Information is more secure than without. I recently purchased another vehicle and forgot about the freeze. Until the dealership asked me if my credit was frozen. It literally took less than four minutes to unfreeze my credit and of course I was approved for the vehicle. It is an added layer of protection that is very much needed in this day and age. Thank you so much!! I do recommend it to all my friends and family!!

I like the fact that I can easily freeze or unfreeze my Experian credit file. But it would be really nice if I could do that across all three credit companies simultaneously, instead of having to go into each one individually. As it is, I have to make sure that all three credit reports are in sync at the same time, which can pose a problem at times.
