Simple to use and gives clear instructions how and where to optimize CV for ATS

Going to be honest, I used to find using JobScan quite successful in the past, but recently things have changed. No longer getting invited to interview on cold applications.

I clearly feel while the application works well, I am curious if AI mass application are making JobScan dead and useless to pay for.

I'd be worried for their business and curious what they are doing to correct this.

I have had more luck and feedback from companies in the last two weeks from Jobscan than I have anywhere else. The fact that it tells you what is missing from your resume and what to use to help is amazing. Wish I could have found this 11 months ago.

This is actually a very good and user friendly tool for job application. I recommend it to anyone seeking a job in corporate world. It identifies keywords to match in seconds, helping you to tailor your resume to job descriptions and potentially pass ATS screening and reach a human desk. It definitely boost your confidence when you apply, and I can personally say that my first round interview invite rate is much higher after using jobscan to help me identify keywords. The only suggestion I have would be maybe give an option to charge monthly instead of asking for 3-month commitment, it gives more flexibility for users.

This service really made a difference for me, I had not gotten any responses from applications, and once I used Jobscan to better tailor my CV for ATS I got interviews! I have now found a job with one of the businesses that responded to a Jobscan optimised application.

Really easy to use, ai helpful with key words and gives an instant ATS score. Since starting using it a few weeks ago I’ve already got a few responses for next stages from jobs, whereas previously I didn’t get any so it’s a really helpful tool in looking for a job.

I wish I had read the reviews before subscribing to JobScan. Sharing my experience so others can be aware.

I subscribed last year, used the service briefly, and thought I had canceled. Unfortunately, I had not, and only just discovered that I have been charged for an entire year, despite not logging into my account or using the service during that time.

When I realised this, I contacted their support team and explained the situation. I was not asking for a full refund, only for the last 3 billing cycles (about 9 months). I pointed out that there had been no activity on my account for over 12 months, which they could easily verify.

Despite this, they only offered to refund $59, which does not even cover the cost of one billing cycle.

This experience made it clear that customer fairness and accountability are not priorities for JobScan. I expected better service and a more reasonable approach to situations like this.

Looking back, the product itself was not useful. In fact, tools like ChatGPT can do a much better job when it comes to resume editing and tailoring job applications. If you are still looking for help with your resume, I would genuinely recommend trying ChatGPT instead.

Hopefully this helps others make a more informed decision, or at least double check their subscriptions. I will not be using or recommending JobScan to anyone I know.

I found out about this site online and was initially skeptic. All it took was using it for 5 minutes to see that it’s the real deal in helping people bypass ATS and increase their chances of getting a call. Immediately told my friend who’s actively looking and has had less than a 1% callback rate with applications over 5 months. Beyond that, I’m impressed about it being an application tracker and probably so many other things that I’m not even fully aware of yet. Honestly it's a very transparent and intuitive tool and it improves a lot the hurdles of jobsearching in this day and age. To be honest, I tell everyone about jobscan because if HR can use AI, so should we. Just be a bit mindful and smart about using it. I legit got me to interviews.

I was struggling to get my application and resume through the front door. How could I tell? I would submit an application that I spent hours completing and get a same day, after hours response that I wasn't a good fit. It is discouraging enough to get a rejection; it's even worse when you realize that hours of effort resulted in a rejection from a machine in merely hours.

I realized I was playing in a game with new rules, but I didn't quite know how to approach it. A friend suggested jobscan - I had nothing to lose.

Jobscan is the edge. For every application, it provided specific suggestions to update my resume as well as my cover letter. In addition, it provide a mechanism to track all my applications along with their progress. And lastly, as it walked me through the improvements, it helped me think about skills and experiences that I had, but wasn't clearly communicating in my applications - I was more valuable than even I realized!

I saw an immediate improvement - how? First, the immediate rejections stopped. Next, I saw an increase in being contacted for interviews. Finally, while there were absolutely still rejections, it was only after weeks, indicating to me that I had gotten well beyond the front door.

I understand why companies resort to AI to filter through resumes - they receive hundreds and it's daunting; however, it is unfortunate, because I believe the systems are calibrated so tightly that their next great employee is overlooked - perhaps the probabilities make sense (For every awesome candidate that's missed, they get 3 potential awesome candidates).

Jobscan increased my opportunities and returned my optimism during the process. I can't recommend it enough! O yeah - I got a new job!

I cancelled my subscription today, within the 2 week free trial. It worked so well at helping me optimize and refine my resume that I started getting interviews within days. I signed up on 9/14/25, skeptical because I had what I thought was a decent resume. But all I was getting was rejections. After signing up, things started to change and I started getting the attention of recruiters and hiring managers. Today is 9/25/25. I accepted a great offer for a position using a resume I optimized on 9/20/25. Thanks, Jobscan. I am a real person. And this really happened to me. I would suggest Jobscan change the free trial to a week instead of 14 days, because 14 days might be too long. But, alas, unsubscribing should be the goal of all subscribers once Jobscan does what it is intended to do: helps you get that perfect job.

Great product, great service and great results

After being ghosted a lot during my last job search, I decided to give Jobscan's Premium offering a try this time around to customize my resume and have a better chance of getting past ATSs. It's easy to use: just paste in the job description and modify your resume to use the terms Jobscan recommends until it says you're ready to apply. It even helped me optimize my LinkedIn profile for the job descriptions I was most interested in. This time my resume got in front of more recruiters and I ended up with a job after applying to fewer positions.

I only ever had one issue with Jobscan. I sent a message to their support and received a prompt, helpful reply that got me past it.

I hope I don't have to job hunt again anytime soon, but if I do I'll go right back to using Jobscan!
