Namehero and their online support is responsive. They offer all the tools such as cPanel/Plesk with VPS servers. For amateur websites and the like they are a good option. But if you are a developer/designer, there are better options out there. Once your technical issues become more complex than the most basic error, Namehero ticketing support is a bit of a disaster. They constantly do not read tickets correctly making assumptions and worsening the issue. Just to get FTP access was tormenting.

Sam D. very quickly identified a problem that was passed over by many people (my team and theirs). Sam D. then provided a resolution and asked for my confirmation. Upon confirmation, Sam D. quickly acted to resolved the issue. He saved the day!

I had some trouble updating my PHP version, but Sajay helped me out perfectly and made the process much easier.

I’ve dropped 2 stars. I’ve been using NameHero for a week, and it’s been a bit of a hassle. Something seems to be wrong with my website after migration, even though it was fine before, and NameHero handled the migration, not me. They asked me to set up a staging site, which wasn’t easy — at other hosts, it’s literally one click. Support is mostly helpful, but this process shouldn’t be this complicated. We’ve had to request adjustments multiple times, and my developer still can’t log in despite his IP being whitelisted.

Love working with Name Hero, the tech support is awesome.

And although it’s annoying, the security is the best.

I really appreciate it, it’s very hard to upload sketchy files. Security is awesome and I’m very grateful for it.

It was NOT RESOLVED due to another (elementor) platform.

Just reached out to Name Hero technical support twice, for two separate problems that I couldn't solve. The problem was resolved by Patil Arun in less than 15 minutes on both occasions.

As a web developer, I’ve worked with several hosting companies, and always went with the cheaper options trying to save my clients a few bucks. I switched to NameHero after Hostinger 'accidentally' deleted one of my client’s sites just days before launch. They eventually recovered it, but the whole experience was a nightmare (I've yet to receive the refund they promised). I realized that in the long run, those few extra dollars per month are nothing compared to the hours of headaches I’ve saved thanks to NameHero’s excellent support.
