I got contacted by The Car Buying Group to see if they could help sell my car, after sending everything to them I got nothing back, I chased a few times for a price and was told they would get back to me but they didn't I asked a few times then gave up and asked them to delete my details.

Great customer service from Paul- communication, honesty, advice. I felt supported all the way through the selling process and got best reasonable price with minimum hassle. Gary arrived in torrential rain and carried out a full inspection in good time. My initial offer was approved and I received agreed funds promptly.

Awful Service.
Was offered 8350 through carwow auction and when i rang them they said leave it with us and we will call you next day.
Took 3 days and no one called so i had to call again myself just to be told their offer changed and its 7500.
Awful and not honest!!

Such an easy professional service. I dealt with Jack and he was friendly and polite. He made a reasonable offer for the car and it was collected by a personable mechanic. The money was in my account before he left. I really recommend this company for selling your car.

Generous at that. I agreed to sell my car through this company and was in communication for a while with a man called Richard we went back and forth over the price and I sent him loads of photos for the valuation, a guaranteed price was agreed and collection arranged, the driver turned up and took photos again, which I get, he sent them to TCBG and said the valuation team will call me, I said here we go try and knock me down, whilst I waited for the call i asked where the car was going, he said auction, tcbg called and gave me some tyre kicking comments and pointed out about a scuff on the light... which is something I pointed out specifically to avoid this issue to which they wanted to shave off £450 from the value, as they would have to replace with genuine parts, a manager called and said they never saw this photo when i submitted therefore the value didn't reflect this. I asked the driver and he said he didn't even see or submit the picture of light, the driver also said this always happens and only a handful of people including me told them to pxss off. I went with motorway and got £1000 more, that would be my advise, this company is another we buy any car

I’m moving abroad so wanted an efficient sale of my car for a guaranteed price.
I tried other websites and found they were quite slow and kept changing prices. They also said they wouldn’t change price on pick up which they didn’t!

I was directed to The Car Buying Group as another company said they couldn't take my car and I assumed it was due to the mileage as it was 95,000.

From my initial contact with Jake Green at The Car Buying Group, everything was made super easy and Jake was a delight to talk to, very knowledgeable, talked me through the whole process on how it worked and followed it up with an email explaining all he'd said to me.

I was informed that after they had received the pictures of my car, I would get a valuation within a couple of hours. In fact I received a call within half an hour, and Jake informed me that my car was a category S, which meant that it had been in an accident and had structural damage. This was all a shock for me as I wasn't aware of this when I purchased it.

Jake was very understanding and showed sympathy with my situation as it meant my cars value went down by half, which was a double blow for me but I still accepted the price.

Two days later, the car was collected after all checks were carried out which takes approximately an hour, and the money was deposited to my account prior to the car being taken.

It really is that simple. From start to finish, it was quick, easy and professional. Thank you Jake for making it so easy for me, even with my cars problem.

Jake was really helpful with selling my Audi a3 and the price he quoted me was the price the company delivered on, all very quick and efficient. Peter who came to pick up the car was a nice chap and took his time as expected checking the car, after about an hour all was good and the money was transferred to me.

Straightforward honest process from start to finish. Describe your car honestly and you get what you are initially offered. Collection process quick and easy and money was in my account before the driver left.

Arranging collection was easy, and on the day it all went smoothly, with payment done securely. Very friendly staff who all made it a pleasant experience. Would use again!

Gave online valuation with car being marked as cat car. Then called and advised their website does not work well and shows wrong valuation for cat cars and knocked off 70% of value. Lied that no other company would even make an offer. When highlighted that i had offer from different company hanged up. Steet clear..

The collection driver, Gary, communicated with me about his arrival time, was thorough but highly professional, polite and stayed with me until payment was received.
