Stay Far, Far Away. This Site is a Total Scam!

This Site is a Total Scam. We signed up in January of 2024. Immediately, it became clear that any new followers we were getting were just useless bots that were located nowhere near our business. So, we requested that they cancel our service right away (there's no way to cancel your service on your own) and thought we were done with it.

Fast forward to September 2025 and they start charging my credit card again out of the blue. First for $99, and then $299 the next month. I logged into our old account to try and put a stop to this and get refunded this money, but of course there's no way to actually delete your credit card information or cancel your account. I opened a chat window and requested refunds and cancellation. They responded like a day later saying they would forward to the billing team and it should be closed within a week. And then they continued to charge my card.

I've disputed the charges with my credit card, and they supposedly fought that dispute and got the charges reinstated. I've disputed again, but this is nothing short of theft at this point.

Stay as far away as you possibly can from this site.

Feels Like They Hope You Don’t Notice the Charges

We cancelled long ago, but they quietly charged $99 anyway. Support ignored the evidence we sent them and did nothing. The only way to stop it was blocking them at the bank but still no hope of a refund. This kind of business practice is shocking and yet they still get away with it....

I’m posting this review to warn others about my experience.

After completing what was clearly labeled as a trial invoice, the company continued to bill my payment method without any authorization. I did not agree to any ongoing service, subscription, or retainer. Despite this, they repeatedly charged me month after month.

The total unauthorized amount has now reached over $4,200.

I contacted the company multiple times to request clarification and a refund. I included screenshots, billing records, and proof of cancellation. They have not responded to a single message. No acknowledgement, no explanation, no resolution.

At this point, I’ve had to escalate the matter to my bank and begin filing formal complaints due to the complete lack of communication.

I’m extremely disappointed and want others to be aware of this experience before doing business with them. Unauthorized billing and silence when questioned is unacceptable.

Illegal use of my credit card

Illegal use of my credit card. I tried their services 2 years ago. It was a scam. So I canceled services. 2 years later they’ve started up charging me they ignore my emails so I have to perform chargebacks constantly. They will not give up charging me. It must be a sign of bankruptcy. I hope you see this and stop charging me since emails don’t work. They don’t send invoices, they just randomly started charging me.

Do not touch this business. I tried the service back at the beginning of 2024. It quickly became apparent that their claims were false. The growth is not real and any insight into your account is fabricated nonsense. I cancelled my account immediately. This was not a simple process. Almost two years later, despite flagging them as problematic with my credit card company, they have started taking payments again. This is just a scam.

Complete scam

Complete scam. They charged my card. You have to connect with "customer service" to cancel and then they started charging my card again a year later.

Fraudulent Charges

I never signed up or paid for this service. I had one fraudulent charge in 2024 that was refunded, and since then I’ve been billed again in September, October, and November without my authorization.

Kündigung unmöglich?

Ich wollte UpGrow für ein Monat abonnieren um es zu testen. Die Follower welche man bekommt sind nicht die welche man gerne haben möchte und für was das Unternehmen wirbt. Aber ok einen Versuch war es wert dachte ich mir und kündigte mein Abo. Das dachte ich mir zumindest als mir das ein Mitarbeiter im Chat bestätigte. Den als ich nun 4 Monate später auf meine Kreditkarte schaue wurde jedes Monat wieder Geld abgehoben. Ebenfalls gibt es nun keine Möglichkeit zu kündigen. Es gibt keinen Menüpunkt zum kündigen auf der Webseite im Profil. Ebenfalls schreibt niemand zurück. Vermutlich muss ich nun einen Anwalt einsetzen...

Suddenly they charge me an annual…

Suddenly they charge me an annual subscription that I canceled way back in the day. Support does not communicate with me and I am trying to sue them now. I also contacted my bank and they will cancel the money back to me.
This was my email:
Dear UpGrow Support Team,
I am writing to formally request the immediate termination of my subscription with UpGrow, the deletion of my UpGrow account, and a full refund for the fees already charged.
Despite multiple attempts to cancel my subscription through your support chat and via your website, I have received no response from your team since informing you that I wished to cancel. Additionally, the “Manage Subscription” function on your website redirects me back to the chat instead of allowing me to cancel directly, which effectively prevents me from managing or stopping the subscription myself.
Furthermore, the followers delivered to my Instagram account are not organic, as advertised. A significant portion of the accounts appear to be inactive, private profiles with identical slogans, no posts, and unrealistic following patterns—strongly suggesting that they are not genuine or organically sourced. This constitutes misrepresentation of service quality, and I therefore request a refund for all associated charges.
With this message, I demand the following actions:
Immediate cancellation of my subscription.
Permanent deletion of my UpGrow account and all associated data.
Full refund of all payments made during the subscription period.
Please provide written confirmation of these actions.
If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 7 calendar days from the date of this message, I will proceed with formal legal action and will report the matter to the appropriate consumer protection authorities for investigation.
I expect your prompt cooperation.

I am victim to another cancelled…

I am victim to another cancelled subscription that they said they cancelled but did not and im still being charged with no response from customer service and no refund on the way. Stay away from these scammers.

Only Bots, then billed one year after cancelling

Looks like I'm not the only one... I cancelled in November of 2024 because none of the followers were legitimate. It took awhile to cancel last year given you can only contact them through chat. This month I got billed $299 for some reason. I've been trying to message and zero response so I filed a claim through my credit card company. Avoid this company.

Upgrow nie wieder!

Upgrow bietet eigenltich nix für sein Geld außer Fakefollower. Und Kündigungen werden nicht angenommen, Ich versuche seit Monaten die Subsription loszuwerden.

I cancelled my account over a year ago

I cancelled my account over a year ago, and they are still charging me hundreds of dollars. Their customer service is atrocious and refuses to resolve this issue. I had to get my credit card company to permanently restrict this company from charging me. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

ILLEGAL UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES!!!! NEVER GIVE UPGROW YOUR CREDIT CARD! I - like others here - had a one month trial in July of 2024 and canceled it. In Sept. of 2025 they started charging my credit card again $428 a month, then $528. They charged it for two months before I caught it. The only prevention is canceling your credit card. They will not respond to countless emails x10 and countless chats on their account web page. This is illegal and I have filed disputes with Visa against this company - Upgrow. Needless to say - they have provided no service. This is criminal activity - so please beware. Once they have your credit card - they hold it - and when you least expect it - start running up charges on it.
