I bought a car 2019 with 116000 miles. 5 miles from the dealer I the car got engine light on and loss power. I have been there until 3 oclock on the morning because the car doesn’t run! The dealer never picked up the call this day, and I tried to retuned the car and they said they have not returned policy!! I bought the car on 25/10/25! To who can I call?

False advertisement

Brought a car back in July from drive wave motors Birmingham and has just been a pain, the car was falsely listed as having the cambelt and water pump changed in February 2025! for me to now find out it has not been done and it is now failing so I need to replace this after just spending a good £400 on other repairs. Also was never told the car had been a cat S as the seller listed the car under a different reg with Cazoo to now clearly hide the fact the car had problems. As in the listing it said a 3 door when the car was a 5 door I thought nothing of it and that ut could have been an honest typo but it wasn’t. But as it came up as passing all checks on here stupidly I did not think to do my own check. Dealer just ignored all my messages so I have now taken it up with trading standards he has only replied to me when I told him it would be going higher as I was not happy just to tell me that he’s at work and that was all. Also took them nearly 2 months to send off the log book to then just put a different address so I had to send off for it myself.

Overall in this cazoos response was awful all I kept getting told was we hold our dealers to a high standards but clearly not when stuff like this seems to be happening to a lot of people recently and they just told me they hope I can fix it instead.

Five star car experience

From the moment I saw the car I liked, Gordon Leslie made the process so easy. He brought the car to me to test drive as I work split shifts, then he took it away, taxed, mot’d, serviced it then brought it back. Absolutely amazing service.
