Qonto is an excellent platform for managing business finances. The app is easy to use, fast, and reliable. Customer support is professional and very responsive. It really helps entrepreneurs save time. Only downside: phone support could improve. Overall, Qonto is highly recommended for small businesses!

Qonto makes sense for very small companies, from 1 to 10 people (TPE). It's especially great to incorporate in France.
When you go beyond/scale, you need proper currency, spending, treasury, or accounting management, at which point, you will find no real use case for Qonto; you will discover that it does everything worse than the specialized alternatives. So eventually, you migrate away.
When it comes to execution, it's B-tier. Examples of issues:
- Google SSO doesn't work on Android.
- They remove features from plans without grandfathering (like everyone else do, e.g. manager role). They don't communicate about removing features either; you discover it by luck.
- When you change a plan mid-your annual engagement, they remove your access to the plan, without waiting for the end of the engagement (e.g., Business -> Essential).
- Only support EUR currencies.
If you want A-tier execution, check: Wise, Pennylane, Brex, Zip.

Excellent service. It was actually enjoyable to create a company through them. Very good support, very good UX.
I attempted to open a business account with Qonto in September 2025, and it turned out to be the worst customer experience I’ve had with any digital product so far. The process was so poor that I felt compelled to tell them directly how disrespectful it was.
Qonto may argue that, as a financial institution, it must comply with strict regulations. However, other providers face the same scrutiny—Vivid Money, for example, managed to complete the entire process in 24 hours, while Qonto failed to do so in over two weeks.
What frustrated me most was that Qonto initiated the KYC process only after I had already made my first deposit. As a result, I couldn’t access a statement—the very document I needed to provide to the notary in order to move forward with my company’s registration.
On top of that, their communication was careless and repetitive. They repeatedly asked the same basic questions—“Who is your supplier for these products?” and “Which products do you intend to offer?”—three times in total. After the second round, I even reminded them that I had already answered, asked them to respect our time, and provided additional context, including examples of competitors’ products and supplier websites. Yet two days later, they sent the exact same questions again, as if nothing had happened.
At that point, I asked them to cancel the process and return the deposit. The entire experience was a complete waste of time.
