3 issues with the purchase of a BMW
Bought a BMW at Riddermark in Strängnäs, and the experience was in many waýs disappointing. The navigation system was already failing at delivery, and within days the engine light came on, requiring a catalytic converter replacement, which they handled. The additional winter wheels were sold without TPMS sensors. This was stated in the sales contract, but as the previous owner of a 2007 car you might not be aware that wheels without TMPS sensors are unusable on car from 2014 and later. Overall, it felt like the dealership cared more about selling cars than properly informing or satisfying customers.

The general process went fine
The general process went fine. But I was promised that they would send the needed documents for me to register the car in a new country. It took almost two months and countless calls to managers who did now answer or employees who said that they has sent it already.
They tried to send it three times but never noticed the document return and never offering a real explanation.
I felt that if something goes wrong after you pay them, good luck they don't care.
I'm personally never buying a car again from this joke of a company.

Quick and smooth
Dont trust the sales person like I am dealing.
I booked a BMW X1 GHR632 on 8th of Nov 2025, but I canceled this order on 9th Nov. Initially I paid a 5000kr booking amount. I asked the salesperson to get my money back. He said within 2-3 working days it will be credited in your account. I have been taking the follow up after 3rd day, but still the money has not been refunded.
and now the sales person didnt pickup my phone. Also send mail to sutomer care but they are not aware what is going o,. I am totally disappointed with this type of service. I am still waiting for my money.

I cannot speak about the company directly. Time will tell if the car I have bought from Riddermark is a good experience with the company or a bad one.
I would, however, like to note that I have had very good experience with their seller Philip Viklund in their Järfälla location. He was very professional, detailed and whatever I asked about, even if he did not know the answer, he made an honest and strong effort into finding out for me, even though the questions may not be relevant to his work.

Car insurance
Buy car, pay extra insurance from them, after 1 month of driving check engine light comes on. Contact riddermark and report problem, they send me service contact, after diagnosis they didn't approve my service because i drive more than 400 Sweedish miles... so why pay extra for insurance??!?!?!?

I bought a car from them and within just one month it needed repairs. I later found out I'm not the only one this has happened to it seems to be a pattern. The worst part is their complete lack of responsibility. They refuse to acknowledge their part in selling vehicles that clearly aren't roadworthy for long. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable car or honest customer service.
Do not buy from Riddermark
I bought a car from Ryddermarkt for 180 000kr, and after only about one month the motor lamp turned on. I am very disappointed with this purchase. When I bought the car, I was told it was in good condition and had been properly checked, but clearly that was not the case.
I expected much better quality and reliability, especially for the price I paid. I contacted them after the problem appeared, but I did not feel that they took my situation seriously or offered any real help. A car for this amount should not start having issues so soon after purchase.
Overall, I feel very let down by the experience and I would not recommend Riddermarkt based on how this has been handled.
Stay away from this company!
Hidden faults in the car that I bought cost me 50,000 SEK. Now the company won't take their responsibility, nor can I use the insurance that they sold me. Stay away from this company.
