Toshiba Not So Smart TV
Bought a 32” smart TV off Amazon (who are also useless by the way!) kept disconnecting from the Wi-Fi and so could not watch any TV programs through any Apps. Contacted Toshiba for help and they blamed our Wi-Fi at home. Even though other TV’s in other rooms work perfectly fine. Tried to get a refund off both Toshiba and Amazon and both were completely unhelpful. Another Toshiba TV to the local tip for landfill. I will never buy a Toshiba or any appliance from Amazon ever again.
DO NOT BUY from this crap company!!
DO NOT BUY from this crap company!!! I bought LAST YEAR a microwave shortly thereafter I sent pics as the paint on base inside was starting to break off!! Didn’t hear so as it was getting even worse and rusting I got back in to them!!! Apparently it’s my fault as I must be closing the door! Being I’m 72yrs of age and this was not my 1st rodeo I wrote telling them I was not happy with that response as I ALWAYS leave it open after use and dry it!!! They continue to say it’s my fault!!!!

Do NOT buy a combination microwave from this company. Their products are not fit for purpose
Like a halfwit I bought this absolute joke of a combination microwave. It came with the instruction pamphlet that has been written by a person who had no idea what he was writing about. Try finding out what the microwave symbals mean, I had to go online for that and even then it took a great deal of investigation.
Toshiba smart tv - rubbish
Awful tv: freezes every few hours, turns itself off for no reason, refuses to load All4 sometimes, very difficult to programme, remote regularly fails to work...etc, etc. Heartily wish I'd never bought a Toshiba smart tv. Never again.
The worst tv and brand I have ever had
The worst tv and brand I have ever had
Just to add. I'm going to add Toshiba TV to land fill.
TOSHIBA RUBBISH
Well having read other reviews of Toshiba products I should not have been surprised when my tv gave up the ghost are just one month. Why do they make such crappie products.
Do not buy Toshiba TV
Do not buy their TV
Got myself 65inch TV by Toshiba.
I thought its a great deal, but pretty much on 1st day of using came across issues with software, videos played in native browser would lag and stop playing suddenly. After few calls back and forward I received USB stick with software update, and it became worse 🤦
After few more calls they just start blaming on my Internet,, meanwhile I have 500Mbit optic fibre and when I questioned why my laptop doesn't have any issues, they just came with all sorts of nonsense. Tomorrow will complain to Ombudsman.
Bought 55” Toshiba smart TV from Argos…
Bought 55” Toshiba smart TV from Argos Coventry on August 28th 2023, worked fine until weekend when my daughter ( bought for her) wanted to wall mount it. We placed it VERY carefully on soft rug to put wall bracket on back, hung on wall , turned in only to find picture failure, only sound, as the manufacturer’s warranty was just 12 months I was 2 months over, called Yoshiba support to see if they could help me out whereupon I was told as they wet there when i moved it I must have done something to break it!!! Basically my fault for moving it. I had previously done a wall bracket on an LG TV the same way, no problem, but Toshiba? Absolute garbage, trust me Dubuque this brand as quality rubbish, customer service even worse and don’t even think about Argos after 30 days as they’re not interested either. Toshiba??? Stick your products, will never buy Toshiba again!!!!
Absolute stupid for a "smart tv"
Absolute stupid for a "smart tv"
If only there was a zero star rating.
The only way to make it vaguely smart is to buy a chromecast or fire stick so they can take over the "smartness"
DO NOT BUY IT
I purchased the Toshiba 50qa5d63db in…
I purchased the Toshiba 50qa5d63db in February this year. I've been plagued with software and hardware issues from the start. With each new issue I've contacted Toshiba's support team to be told it needs factory resetting. I've completed no fewer than 6 factory resets and had software updates sent out on USB sticks. After the latest fault appeared, (No memory left even though the tv tells me it has only used 720mb of 4.6GB) I've been told I have to perform yet another factory reset before they would consider any further support. Absolutely infuriated.
Bought a Toshiba 50 inch 4K QLED…
Bought a Toshiba 50 inch 4K QLED QV2363DB smart TV for £239 from ASDA. Simple to set up, fantastic picture/audio quality, good looking, free view play is nice, connected to WiFi hotspot reliably & all for under £240, an amazing Toshiba television for an amazing ASDA price🎆🎇🎆💖. Wholeheartedly RECOMMEND this product
Bought a Freely TV (because of problems…
Bought a Freely TV (because of problems with the TV signal in my area) and I am more than happy with both the Freely service and the quality of the video and audio.
BUT.. the TV has no access to NOW TV and no access to AirPlay app which would allow screen mirroring from a MacBook. The choice of services seems puny compared to other TV manufacturers (Samsung being the obvious example). So my 6 month subscription to NowTV is useless if I want to watch footy on this TV.
Awful awful tv
Awful awful tv, please do not purchase Toshibas horrendous tv, it cannot find channel it turns itself off and sometimes when you press stand by it turns itsel back on . It’s like living with a teenager again
Don't buy toshiba products
If i could rate toshiba less than 1 star 🌟 then i would. I bought 2 50" toshiba tv 2 years ago together, both have developed lines going across the screen. One is on the wall so untouched from the day it was put there and the other left on the stand. I've called toshiba for help, no help from them as the warranty has finished they said and i explained that I've got a JVC 32" that I've had for more 8 years which is left on all night and has no problem. Their response was sometimes you get a good tv and sometimes not.
Good performance and support.
Wanted a budget replacement tv and decided on a Toshiba Freely set from Argos with the knowledge it could easily be returned if not suitable.
After setting up I was unable to get any Freely live channels through wi-fi. With trepidation I contacted Toshiba service. The agent patiently guided me through a factory reset and solving the problem. So far, so good and the set's performance belies it's low price.
