Ondeskundig en ongeschikt

Dit een goedkope app met ai gemaakt, er zit geen greintje originaliteit en deskundigheid in. Het bedrijf hierachter heeft in korte tijd heel veel van dit soort apps gelanceerd op allerlei gebieden. Kortom, ze zijn helemaal niet geschikt om dit soort hulp te bieden, ze zijn een ai/app ontwikkelaar en geen deskundigen. En 50 euro per maand na de blijkbaar automatische verlenging is belachelijk. Advies, blijf hier vandaan, en als je er toch bent schakel direct automatische verlenging uit.

Vanuit mijn rol als GGZ-agoog en beeldend therapeut die werkt met mensen met trauma. Ben ik wars van'coaches' of apps, die meestal meer schade aanrichten. Daarom even gecheckt of deze app echt door universiteiten is onderzocht..... NEE dus.

1. Geen bewijs dat universiteiten trauma-onderzoek deden met Liven

Er wordt geen wetenschappelijk onderzoek gepubliceerd dat door “drie grote universiteiten” is uitgevoerd samen met of voor de Liven‑app. Een Reddit-gebruiker schrijft:

> *"a quick google search of the universities they mention having done research for/with Liven have done no such thing"*

Er is dus geen traceerbare peer-reviewed studie of universiteitsproject dat deze claim ondersteunt.

2. Algemene wetenschappelijke achtergrond versus app-specifieke bewijsvoering

Hoewel internet- en app-gebaseerde cognitieve gedragstherapie (iCBT) in de literatuur effectief blijkt bij PTSD en trauma (bv. Cochrane-review van 2018; NIHR Evidence 2023), is dat algemene onderzoek naar iCBT, niet specifiek óf bewijs voor Liven’s effectiviteit bij trauma .

3. Beoordelingen van gebruikers vertrouwen Liven’s claims niet

Ooit aangekocht maar abonnement op tijd opgezegd. Had me blijkbaar alsnog gedomicilieerd waarbij er halfjaarlijks €100 van mijn rekening ging... Heel misleidend. Ga bedrijf nog proberen te contacteren om mijn geld terug te vorderen maar ik vrees ervoor...

Since your membership was originally activated through our web platform, it must be cancelled either directly via the Membership section in Liven app’s Settings (as described in our Help Center), or by contacting our support team. I'm very sorry that this wasn't made clearer, and that you weren't aware of these steps — this gap in communication is fully on us.

That said, I want to be completely transparent: we never intended to lock you into any kind of membership, nor do we have the technical ability to force unwanted charges. On the contrary, we do our best to clearly present all billing terms — including renewal cycles, pricing breakdowns, and cancellation options — both during sign-up and within our app itself. Still, it’s clear that something here didn’t feel right to you, and for that, I apologise deeply.

Goeie app, nog betere service

De app op zich is goed. Ik had een abonnement afgesloten voor de testen. Na 3 maanden werd mijn abonnement automatisch verlengd. Dat staat ook in de voorwaarden. Normaal gesproken check ik regelmatig mijn abonnementen in de app store. De verlenging van deze app gaat via de app zelf. Ik heb dat niet in de gaten gehad en het abonnement weed verleng voor drie maanden, € 100. Ik wilde geen verlenging, mailtje gestuurd. Deden helemaal niet moeilijk en netjws mijn geld terug gekregen. Hele vriendelijke klantenservice.

Nog geen refund...

Ik probeerde de app, er werd €34,99 afgeschreven en toen werd er ineens nog eens €99,99 afgeschreven. Ik heb gecancelled, maar nog geen refund gekregen. En ook een weigering om een factuur te krijgen. Ik wil alsnog mijn refund.

Toevoeging: dank voor de reactie vanuit Liven, maar het is nooit duidelijk geweest dat ik ergens aan vast zat en al helemaal niet dat ik iets zou hebben verlengd. Dit is niet zoals het hoort en daarom wil ik volledige refund van de betaalde bedragen. Ik heb geen gebruik gemaakt van de app en heb daar ook geen interesse in. Ik hoop dat dit netjes wordt opgelost. Alleen dan zal ik de review aanpassen.

Scam

Scam! Waardeloze app waar je niks aan hebt. Abonnement meteen opgezegd, staat ook niet meer tussen abonnementen op mijn telefoon. Geen zin in de eerste €35,- terugbetaling aanvragen. Nu staat er 3 maanden later ineens een reservering van -€99,- op m’n creditcard. Typisch frauduleuze praktijken. Afwachten tot het een afschrijving wordt voordat ik de terugbetaling kan aanvragen bij de bank.

Pas op

Pas op, dit is een fraudeleuze en waardeloze website. Als je de zogenaamd "quiz" doet verzamelen ze je gegevens. Vervolgens krijg je een niet transparant abonnement en worden er kosten afgeschreven met een dubieuze omschrijving en locatie. Kosten waar ik NOOIT mee akkoord gegaan ben. Fraude melding via bank loopt.

Ik schreef me op 28 december in voor de Livenapp en er werd 19,99 afgeschreven.
Ik meende dat dit zou volstaan en dat het een proefperiode was.
Tot mijn ontzetting is er vandaag , 27 januari , ineens 49,95 afgeschreven en blijk ik een abonnement te hebben.
Ik heb Paypal daarom gebeld en mijn account daar gesloten om te voorkomen dat dit nogmaals kan gebeuren.
Een hele nare ervaring!
Ik denk dat het onbegonnen werk zal gaan zijn om mijn geld terug te krijgen.

Aanvulling: Na het sluiten van mijn account bij Paypal kreeg ik gek genoeg onmiddellijk van Liven bericht dat t hen speet dat ik mijn account bij hen ophief. Had dit nog niet naar hen gecommuniceerd. Ik heb dat bevestigd en de reden gegeven, maandelijks 49,95 betalen zonder heldere communicatie daarover.
Het schijnt wel te verschijnen bij de checkout maar dit is véél te onduidelijk.
Ik krijg nu 50 % van de 49,95 terug.

Nog een aanvulling: ik ben opnieuw benaderd door Liven en in dat bericht wordt nu gezegd dat ik binnen 5 tot 7 dagen de volledige 49,95 terug krijg.

Niet doen!!!

Ik wil graag waarschuwen voor deze app. Na de proefperiode wordt automatisch een abonnement gestart zonder duidelijke vermelding vooraf. De prijzen zijn extreem hoog en ik heb nooit expliciet toestemming gegeven om geld van mijn PayPal af te schrijven. Dit voelt misleidend en sluw. Ik ben opzoek naar hulp en nu voelt het alsof daar misbruik van is gemaakt.
Let op als je deze app wilt gebruiken! Ik heb al mails gestuurd omdat ik mijn geld terug wil, helaas nog niets terug ontvangen.
