Heather/Stephanie took tremendous care and consideration into making our trip very special. They helped plan, coordinated and guided us through the entire process. We had a fantastic time and created a very memorable experience.

For the third time, Vaya has helped us organize a fantastic trip. Their team is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful—we can't say enough good things about them.

Our trip to Spain was amazing! We stayed at 6 hotels in 5 different cities, with easy transitions between each. The trip was well planned by Vaya, and gave us the opportunity to be deeply immersed in the culture of each of the different regions. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

We recently had a bucket list adventure in Tanzania and Kenya, superbly planned and organized by Vaya. It was an amazing trip and I can’t thank the staff enough for ensuring safety, fun, adventure, ease of travel and access to mind blowing wilderness. Hopefully there will be a next time adventure and I will definitely use Vaya to make the magic happen.

Marci did a fantastic job arranging our trip to Peru and Chile. We wanted to visit the floating islands of Uros on Lake Titicaca and Easter Island. She listened to our ideas, gave terrific suggestions, was open to itinerary revisions, and was always quick to answer our questions. We felt supported and valued.
Our accommodations ranged from rural homestays to urban luxury hotels and they all gave us an authentic cultural experience.
The guides were fantastic- very friendly and super knowledgeable. They adapted their tours based on our interests and what we had previously seen in that area.
Transfers from airport to hotel were flawless. We never felt abandoned. The guides knew our schedules, reminded us what to expect next and confirmed pick up times at all stages. They were never late, we never wasted any time. It was all very efficient and we never felt pressured.
We will definitely use Vaya Travel again for another South American adventure or Africa.

Vaya country experts are excellent at curating personalized itineraries to fit your needs. Our group of four had an incredible time in Tanzania, enjoying safaris in numerous locations and beach days on Mafia Island. Highly recommend staying in safari camps in the Serengeti for a truly unique bush experience. This was our third trip through Vaya and we will continue to use them for future travel!

Gretchen arranged a custom itinerary that allowed us to learn some history, be out in amazing nature, and talk with the locals. She gave us a contact person in Croatia who could help us any time (thanks, Branka!!). Our drivers/guides gave us many interesting insights to life in Croatia. Go for the beautiful country, and you’ll go back to reunite with the amazing people!!

All guides and drivers were on time every single time. The itinerary was well planned for our family of five. The accommodations were awesome. Overall it was a fabulous trip.

EVERY detail of our journey was perfectly arranged. EVERY teammember we dealt with on the tour was helpful, watchful, attentive and very pleasant. ( we actually have maintained contact with some our guides since returning home). It was a little tricky at times since we were 'riding the wave' of the overthrow of the government
But we were carefully sheherded by the team and never felt in danger

Vaya delivered an end-to-end experience for our life-changing trip to Tanzania. The up-front planning was great with an emphasis on our primary objectives. The pre-trip communications were helpful and our customized trip portal was incredibly useful before and during the trip. During the trip, we received consistent support from Vaya, and the local team took great care of us in every location. We did have one instance where the transit from one location to another was confusing, but Tanzanian bush flights and regional flights seem to operate a bit differently. This wasn't a Vaya issue. Even so, Vaya was on the phone with us to sort out the complexity. Overall, a memorable trip!

It was an incredible experience. The guides and drivers were exceptional, we learned so much from the guides, it was like being in a class with the professor, they are the best. The accommodations were first class and we totally enjoyed them.

It is difficult to assemble enough superlatives when describing our experience with Vaya. From the first call with Trip Representative, Dervla, we were in great hands. Dervla listened carefully to our interests and concerns and then crafted a bespoke adventure in East Africa for our family. Attention to detail was flawless, logistics, accommodations and food were all first rate. But what really made Vaya stand out was the personal touch We felt the genuine care and interest from staff and experienced serendipitous, authentic and deeply moving personal connections throughout the trip…From the wonderful guides to individuals we met in villages and the lodges, we were welcomed into what was a new world for us. We would give Vaya 100 stars if we could and we look forward to booking our next adventure.

Fantastic Trip! Perfect combination of culture/history, beautiful scenary, and pampering. Particularly enjoyed the uniquely Japanese experiences - Dinner with a Geisha, mediatation with a monk, Sumo tournament, etc. Hotels and food could not have been better!

Gretchen, our Destination Specialist, has been incredibly responsive to all of our inquiries in order to make our vacation perfect. She provided everything that we asked for and no detail was left unturned. This is our second trip with Vaya and our second time working with Gretchen. We could not be happier.
