I received my glasses middle of August,have been trying to connect them via email to discuss an issue with the glasses,I finally got a reply in December (this week) and they are now saying I’m too late for a refund even though I reported the issue as soon as I received the glasses to let them know they weren’t suitable,take the into consideration before ordering online order number: #266832

Placed order for in-stock glasses, but no update ever received...

Went with Fashion Eyewear for a Christmas gift because their site noted that "in stock items ship next day" and I wanted to ensure the purchase arrived in time for the holiday.

I chose a pair of glasses that were in stock, but after 2 weeks they still haven't shipped. Emailed customer service twice, but got no reply.

In the end, I've filed a dispute with my credit card company, as I have no reasonable expectation that the glasses will arrive in a timely manner - if at all - given that my messages to the company have gone unacknowledged. Won't do business with them again.

UPDATE: In their reply, Fashion Eyewear indicate that the 2 week lead time "was also confirmed to you by email on 2 December." While it's impossible for me to verify if the lead-time was on the website when I made my purchase, I have checked my inbox, trash and spam folders and absolutely didn't receive any communication from them between a confirmation email on 11/28, and their responses today (12/10) - after I posted this negative TrustPilot review and filed a chargeback with my credit card company. Downgrading from 2 to 1 stars as this is pretty disingenuous.

Thank you for your feedback. As clearly stated on the product page—and again in the cart in amber text—this item carries a two-week lead time at the time of your order. This was also confirmed to you by email on 2 December.

You have now advised us that a dispute has been filed. In light of this, we have cancelled your order on our side, as we are unable to proceed while a dispute is active. The item has arrived into stock since and we were due to be shipped.

* Charlie thank you for the updated comments, I have emailed directly with screenshots from our automated system for your reassurance. I do appreciate some email providers can block our emails due to the volume we issue and the belief we are spamming people.

Furthermore, I attempted to action your refund last night so as not to delay anything, but this morning the chargeback has come into effect, so your funds will be with your bank.

As usual fashion don’t trust ass fashion eyewear they’re totally incompetent

As usual fashion, I were saying they’re gonna follow up on it but they’re not they just keep purely asking me for my order number and my user ID. I’ve given that information over eight times with no results. They have all my records on file but they’re too ignorant to know how to pull it up or search for my product Fedex is that they can only do. They said I had five business days tomorrow’s the last business day then I’m gonna contest the charges with my bank. that’s a total bull. I got all the records in my phone when I sent you my order number my user ID number since you emails phone calls you name it you are so such a dumb ass.

You’re welcome to keep insisting that you sent information, though we remain entirely in the dark as to who you may have sent it to.

If a bank dispute is opened, we’ll respond through the appropriate channels. Alternatively—if it’s not too much trouble—you can simply provide the order number here. That would at least give us something concrete to work with and allow us to attempt a resolution.

* If you have already provided your order number elsewhere, there is no reason it cannot be added here so we can identify your account and assist you. Using abusive or hostile language does nothing to resolve the situation and only delays our ability to help. We expect a basic level of courtesy so we can address your concern efficiently.

Horrendous …

I Ordered frames and my order was confirmed. Didn’t hear back at all so chased them on the date delivery was due … got an automated response saying it was being CONSIGNED TO THE RELEVANT DEPARTMENT….
Had to phone them only to be told they hadn’t been processed but promising to get back to me …
STILL NOTHING! Then had email promising I’d hear by the end of the day YESTERDAY …
I’ve sent 2 more emails and still not had a reply!
What horrendous customer service…
Order number 291789 . I’ve now ordered from a different supplier … can’t trust Fashion Eyewear.
Update: TY Mandeep for reaching out immediately and arranging refund. You’ve been very prompt and helpful.

Amazing customer service

Not only does Fashion Eyewear have great prices on quality designer frames, they absolutely went the extra mile for me when I realized I had ordered frames that would need to be restocked before shipping. As I was unable to wait to have a new prescription filled they very kindly arranged to cancel the order. All this happened at a stressful time for me and Devona was so understanding and kind throughout. Will 100% be purchasing my frames here in the future and recommend others do the same.
