The recipes can be a little difficult for me to follow and I have to reread them a couple of times. But the food is good and fresh and I also think that it’s fairly economical. I’m happy that I get my food delivered weekly and I look forward to every meal.

I am generally very satisfied with…

I am generally very satisfied with HelloFresh. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the recipes are varied and easy to prepare, without spending hours in the kitchen. It’s such a relief not to have to plan meals or go grocery shopping—this saves a lot of time while still eating well.
The only downside is delivery. In my experience, there are often problems, almost every other time. It’s a shame because the service itself is excellent, but these delivery issues slightly affect the experience.

Hellofresh very good, chronofresh very bad…

Ever since chronofresh is delivering, 2 out of 3 do not arrive at all. Worst business decision from hellofresh from their end. We are seriously considering changing our provider even if we adore the menus. One of their advantages was less food waste. Well, all those packages that did not arrive will go to the bin. Chrono fresh is a disaster We have been regularly delivered by…

We have been regularly delivered by hellofresh and never had any problem with the schedule. It was all clear and worked wonders. Now suddenly my last delivery without any notice was supposed to be delivered by chronofresh. We are only on wednesdays at home and due to some problems of chronofresh they couldn’t deliver. The whole package is now going to waste as we won’t be able to recover it… chronofresh was a teribble choice

Semi solution for a problem with Hello Fresh

So I forgot to cancel the box and they offered to reimburse me half of the outlay. This is a better experience than I expected. However I feel harassed by their operational strategy. I would have possibly liked a box occasionally but that doesn’t seem to be possible (without having to postpone your box every week) and therefore I am done with them. Pity, as it was a very useful service. But once they start harassing their customers and creating trouble for people, it’s kinda done for me.

I would give it zero stars if I could

I would give it zero stars if I could. What a shambles of a company. They send you boxes you don't want & then refuse to credit you. Portion sizes for 3 people are a JOKE. Dreadful customer services. They refuse to refund you - only offer a credit which I do not want. Is that even legal??

Unauthorized Charge and Poor Customer Support

I had a deeply frustrating experience with HelloFresh. A few years ago, I created an account but never placed an order. Recently, I returned to the website to view a potential offer, but did not confirm or submit any order. Despite this, I was shocked to discover that €50 had been withdrawn from my bank account and a box was being delivered — all without my consent.

When I contacted customer service immediately, I was told that it was "too late" to cancel and that I must have made a mistake. After multiple attempts — including 3 calls to HelloFresh and 2 to Chronopost — I was finally told that they had updated my delivery address and phone number (which were outdated, as my account was years old). But this came too late, and I still didn’t receive the box.

Their final answer? No refund, no compensation, no accountability. I never ordered this box, never confirmed anything, and yet I’m left paying for a product I didn’t want and spent hours chasing down.

It’s unacceptable for a company to enable automatic charges like this without clear consent — and even worse to then leave the customer to deal with the consequences alone. I’ve since cancelled my account and will never use HelloFresh again.

Avoid unless you’re ready to be charged without notice and receive no help when things go wrong.

I ordered a box in April it was never…

I ordered a box in April it was never delivered to me even after I left instructions as to what to do if I wasn't home. There is no customer service as such and they now owe me 48e for the box I didn't receive. Easy way to make money especially as I don't speak a lot of French and can't get hold of anyone anyway. I hate being robbed I would rather have given the money to a charity where it would do some good.

Missing products, no deliveries

Missing products every time, credits promised not seen.
For the delivery, delivery guy called me at 9:43 p.m i called him back at 9:47 p.m and the delivery was canceled and impossible to deliver it back until 2 days...

They send you reminders until they don’t

They send you reminders to pick your meals until they don’t.
Once you forget to pick your box, it’s impossible to cancel it for free. You only get reimbursed in HelloFresh credits (so only to be used in next order).
Their system also forgot to add a coupon once.
And credits they gave us to apologize for this error never showed up.
Basically making money from you forgetting to choose ur meals well.

This does not bode well

This does not bode well! I received several reminders saying my order would be delivered between 08.00 and 13.00hr. I don't have neighbours,or at least any I know or are at home during the day, I don't have a porch or a safe place to leave packages and parcels. I decided to give Hello fresh a chance. After their delivery reminders I decided to take a day off to receive my delivery. I waited and waited. About an hour before their delivery deadline I received a message to say there'd been a problem and my order wouldn't be delivered until the following day. Absolutely no good to me at all. I was furious. I can't be mucking about like this and decided to cancel my subscription and order. Contacted customer service,got through to an automated q&a
service that informed me it was too late to cancel this particular order.
A new delivery was set for the next day. Again I waited and waited and again no delivery. I eventually received my order three days late. Hellofresh delivery service totally wasted two days of my time . Consequently I cannot recommend Hellofresh service

I got a reduction code from their…

I got a reduction code from their partnership with Veepee. I spent 50 euros and had a new account, but the system never let me order the food. I now lost the money, never been able to order, and their support just keeps saying I have an account, which I DON'T. So they just stole 50 euros and terminated the chat. Great deal!!!

Paused for two weeks due to not being…

Paused for two weeks due to not being at home. Hello Fresh just charged me over 80 euros for quich, soup and sandwiches for my family!! Tried contacting them personally 3 times with no response. They will catch you out for sure. It's a shame really because the concept is great for busy families but they give you no reminders or notifications and the customer service is no exsistent.

Then this week the delivery was meant to arrive Friday, I stayed at home. No delivery. No contact. Waited at home again on Saturday. No delivery. No contact. Impossible to speak to someone in person. Finally got refunded but wasted 2 days. HelloFresh is a good concept but delivery system is not good and im still not happy to pay over 80 euros for the above menu of Quiche, soup and veloute!

Lesson learnt.

You are therefore supposed to receive a box every week unless you change your mind, such as pausing or cancelling, before the final deadline indicated on your online account.
