I booked a guesthouse in China and it didn't exist ( the neighbours said it had closed) and when I contacted customer service at trip.com they were very concerned and very helpful. They also got back to me really quickly and gave me a full refund as well as extra trip coins as compensation. It was very reassuring, especially when you're in a country where you don't speak the language. Excellent service.

Trip.com is a scam. We booked 1st-class tickets on China's fast train. Trip.com informed us that there are no first-class tickets available, and we can only book second-class tickets. However, 12306.com - China Railway booking is showing 1st class seat <99 left. Trip.com is lying to you and is only interested in stealing your money. Another thing is that Trip.com receives an extra commission for selling unused seats for which you have to pay the premium; this is why they will direct you to "unsold" seats. I lost over $3,000 in this Trip.com scam, and I had to purchase my required tickets at 12306.com for 15% discount.

I received message that my issued ticket has been cancled and other options was in Shanghai PVG istead of Hongqiao. It was a group travel with other from overseas who booked same flight and it make big truble for our planning.

I’ve been using Trip.com for a while now, and I can confidently say they are one of the best services out there. Their customer support deserves special praise – they’ve helped me out in a few complicated situations where other platforms simply couldn’t.
What I really appreciate is that Trip.com often has options that are no longer available on other booking sites. More than once they literally saved my trip by providing the best routes and prices when everything else seemed sold out.
Reliable, fast, supportive – Trip.com has become my go-to service for travel bookings. Highly recommend.
