Paying attention.for 3 years I have been a customer .I shop to much and did not pay attention to my card being billed for Amazon prime I figured It was something I purchased or subscription and I been asking for my prime benefits that come with my phone plan and here we are black Friday it is and I can't afford to do my shopping or watch new wizard of ozz movie on my 75 inch .it thanksgiving and that is wicked I can't say what I feel exactly how I want to word this but you suck metro t mobile I want my money reimbursed

T-Mobil store will not stand by their products

Bought an upgraded phone 11/14/2025 from t-Mobil 2135 suite 105 Deltona, Florida. 9 days later the phone has a defective loudspeaker. Short fused manager says nothing can be done. I said I could do something. Manager says I threatened her and asked me to leave the store. she took my words wrong due to lack of customer skills. I will never set foot in that store again. I am considering taking my cell phone business elsewhere. Now I am stuck with a defective phone.

It started with a phone upgrade

It started with a phone upgrade. I bought the phone got it a week later. Something on there end screwed up and after being hung up on twice(I wasn't even being rude, disrespectful, swearing or any other reason to be hung up on) a week and a half later they finally got it figured out and right when they did they said I owed 360.00$ so they suspended my service. I owed nothing and could not get ahold of costumer service due to my suspended line to find out WTF was going on. Had go go to dealership so they could contact them. They gave me a 3 day extention and in that amount of time I still could not get shold of them until I paid the 360.00 so back into the store I went and they had to contact them. Long story short they once again admitted they screwed up I owe nothing but until they fix it my my extention is up and my phone is off until there work order goes through and someone fixes it. They didn't even give me another extention. Ive had the same number for over 20 yrs. And have been a loyal customer despite other train wrecks I've gone threw with these people. I've done nothing to deserve this sh>[ from them. Dont give them your business and add soon as i figure out how to keep my number and switch it will be done.

Rude Customer service

Ordered phone and submitted a form to cancel the order. But anyways they shipped the phone. I requested them to cancel the shipment and asked them why did they ship the phone when i submitted form to cancel the order before the shipment began. Customer support spoke so rudely as if they are speaking to a slave.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Metro by T-Mobile. My phone line has been non-functional for the past six days, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue through customer service and in-store visits, no viable solution has been provided.

The representatives I interacted with were frequently unhelpful, dismissive, and at times, disrespectful. I was shocked to be asked to pay $500 to resolve the issue—an amount that was never justified or explained. This experience has left me feeling exploited and emotionally distressed.

Furthermore, I was denied any form of service credit or compensation for the outage. The lack of accountability and transparency, combined with the poor treatment I received, has caused significant stress and disruption to both my personal and professional life.

I am requesting:

Immediate resolution of my service issue

A full explanation of the charges presented to me

Compensation for the days my service was unavailable

An investigation into the conduct of Metro by T-Mobile’s customer service representatives

I reserve the right to pursue further action, including filing complaints with regulatory agencies and seeking legal remedies for emotional distress and financial harm.

CRUEL TO THEIR WORKERS!

This company doesn't let their workers be at peace and also don't let my husband talk to me, he works there and they don't even let him have a phone call with me for 15 minutes plus we are in a long distance relationship we haven't talked properly since days because of this so called company.

My experience with MetroPCS / T-Mobile has been one of the worst in my life. For over a month, I have been unable to recover my PIN code, which means I cannot access payments or basic services. Their customer support feels like dealing with bots — endless loops of automated texts that lead nowhere. The whole system looks and works exactly like a scam trap, where you are stuck with no solution. I’m done — this is my last month with them. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Title: Metro Took $120, Refused Refund—Then Gave Me a Credit After I Fought Back



I paid Metro $120 for service, then canceled the same day. They shut off my line and told me no refund because I “should’ve asked for a bill credit before canceling.” That’s not just bad policy—it’s bait-and-switch billing.

After pushing back hard, they finally gave me a $25 bill credit and dropped my plan to $25/month unlimited. But it took multiple calls, a denied bank chargeback, and a fight just to get what should’ve been automatic.

Metro’s frontline reps won’t help unless you know how to talk to the disconnect department. If you’re dealing with billing issues, ask for retention or executive resolutions—don’t waste time with Tier 1.

I got my rate lowered and a credit, but they still kept most of the $120. Watch your billing, document everything, and don’t let them stonewall you.

Metro by T-Mobile is Trash

On Friday of last week, I attempted to purchase new service with a new phone number and device. After the account was built, I made it to the payment screen and there was an error message that the order didn't go through. However, I checked my bank account and the funds had been placed on a hold. I called Metro back and explained what had happened and was told that since no order has been generated, the charge should fall off in a day or two. By Wednesday, the charge was still sitting in my account in "pending" status. I called and spoke to a supervisor who spoke to me like I was an idiot and said that Metro doesn't place funds on hold because they are a prepaid company.. that makes no sense. Then I talked to a gentleman who explained that he found the payment and needed to create a ticket to have the charge reversed... and I should see it returned within 24 hours. After waiting 24 hours, the funds were still "pending" so I called back and was told there was no record of any ticket being filed and there was no payment that existed and it was my bank that was the issue. I've been with my bank for years and nothing ever sits pending longer than two days with them, but they can't do anything because on their side, Metro still has the funds on hold and the bank can't dispute a transaction until it posts, meaning Metro either takes the funds or releases the hold they say they don't have. My only option is to wait until Monday to force dispute the charge through my bank and hope they can claw the funds back from Metro. But.. the issue is that I still need a new phone! So this time, I called into the sales department to ensure they put the order in and there no error. The first person I spoke with kept trying to transfer me to customer care and tried to charge me $50 for a phone that was free last week...when I made the original order! I said ok, fine, I will port in one of my numbers to get the device for free.. he transferred me to the port in team, where I was told that they can't process a port unless there is already an active account with a device attached. I said ok, and asked to be transferred back to sales, she said they didn't have transfer capabilities and she could give me the number to the sales department. So I had to call back to the sales department and start the entire process over. Igor a hold of a young man and he attempted to help me, until he informed me that my number port would take all about 2 months to complete and I can't get the free device. At this point I explained that rabid chimps couldn't force me to give this company any more of my time or money. If you made it this far, learn from my journey... This company is trash. This has been, by a very wide margin, the worst experience I have ever had with a company that I am attempting to give money to, to become a new customer. Don't trust them or give them your business. I will say it to anyone who will listen... This company is trash, this company is trash, this company is trash. Now I am off to every other corner of the internet with this story and my mission to let as many people as possible know that on as many websites and review boards I can think of that Metro by T-Mobile is a trash company.

Positive Changes Are Needed Here

Brought my own phone to a metro store for activation. I paid the activation fee and my plan is was changed to a higher plan? I was $10 insurance for my own phone without being asked. It's my own fully unlocked phone that doesn't belong to you. I can see if I'm a new customer buying your phone and select a plan which isn't the case. I've been a loyal customer since 2021. Shouldn't any customers plan be changed just because of an activation! I paid my bill in full on the 8th of the month and after this activation, my service was suspended due to a $17.52 charge. My bill was already paid. Why? I contacted metro customer service and couldn't speak with an agent until I paid $17.52 through their automated system. Spoke to an agent and demanded my original plan back the way it was and to get the 17.52 back. I was told the money will go towards the next bill, but my plan was changed back. Horrible experience with metro customer service call center! They were foreigners and all talking at the same time without noise cancelling headsets. I couldn't hear the rep over the phone. So much static in the connection as well. And to top all of that, there was a huge language barrier. I've been a faithful customer since 2021 and have never had such a poor experience. T-Mobile, you really need to do better. Seems it's more about money and less about customer satisfaction that's paying you their money! It should be illegal to change a customer plan after paying for a new activation of their own phone. And also for charging $10 for insurance their own phone without consent! And to be charged an extra $17.52 and was NEVER aware of any of these changes isn't right!

Metro by T-Mobile (formerly Metro PCS)-thieves

Metro by T-Mobile (formerly Metro PCS) will continue billing you after you close your account. They will debit your bank account repeatedly. You will spend hours fighting them but they will deny billing you and refuse to look at your bank statement. The only solution is to put the charges in dispute at your bank and cancel your bank account. This is the only way to stop them. I thought T-Mobile could fix this since they are the parent organization I moved my phone service to, but the salesman there said Metro stole $120 from him too, $40 per month for several months. He got his bank to reverse some of the charges but one stuck and he lost $40. He said he fought them for months then gave up.

worst experience ever with online shopping! they put a $55 hold on my card and cancelled the order saying they can't identify me. the hold is still on my card after 8 days this caused me ALOT more problems.

They said they couldn't verify my identity for a new account but they put a $55 hold on my card and for eight days refuse to remove it.

I WILL NEVER EVER BECOME A METRO BY T-MOBILE CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF THIS.

Disappointed customer

Been a paying customer since 2017 and ran into a issue where I wanted to switch my phone from a iPhone to android and wanted a in store discount on a android not the phone shipped to me via mail at a discount. They said I had to pay full price in store or we will ship you a phone at a discount. They wouldn’t meet my needs but basically this is what we you can get or go kick rocks. Didn’t feel like a valued customer being told this is what you get instead of sure let’s see what we can do.

Was a customer of Metro by T mobile for seven and half years. Staff at the store were great. Customer service phone number is horrible, could hardly ever get thru and could not understand the people who handled the phone lines. They never went up on my service and coverage was great. Switched to another company with better customer service.

Shady?

In January of 2025 I called to cancel my service. The person I spoke to offered me 2 months of free service. I told them I didn't need the service and 2 months of free would be futile. They put their supervisor on the phone who told me they would give me 2 months of free service and at the end of two months it would automatically cancel.

After two months I noticed that my bank account had been charged $240 for the two months I was supposed to get free. I called on Feb 24, 2025 and they told me they would cancel my service but wouldn't refund my $240. To add insult to injury they told me that I will also be charged an additional $5 for the 4 days into the next billing period.

Now I have to travel one hour to the magistrate's office in the town where I purchased the service to file a small claim lawsuit.

Thieves

We had someone pay their phone bill with our company credit card. T Mobile refuses to tell us what phone number we paid for or the persons name. This makes it where we can't address the person that did this. Very frustrating. So they are trying to protect the person that stole the payment, but not our credit card that was used. Horrible service, do not use these people. Maybe it was one of the Metro T Mobile employees that did the theft.
