Hopefully picked the correct company to cover my house & contents policy. Time will tell.

Really great customer service, guided me through adding 3 cars to the insurance and the price was so much cheaper than any of the other companies I'd tried including my existing one despite the fact that I added in extra items

In this day and age, a £45 cancellation fee is simply outrageous. With technology as it now is, under no circumstances would cancelling a policy cost this business anywhere near that to process. Yet another example of today's rip-off Britain, where consumers are increasingly over-charged and under-served. Insurance companies treat the consumer as an ATM, and a licence to print money to ensure their shareholders continue to enjoy healthy profits whilst the layman struggles with disproportionately rising costs.

This is NOT in the interests of the consumer, and it is mendacious for anyone to suggest it is. Furthermore, cancelling online is not possible - and I was unwilling to download an app I was not subsequently going to use, merely to cancel a policy. I therefore had to spend 50 minutes on the telephone cancelling.

I concede that the customer services agents were pleasant, but ultimately it's the company process and charging policies which are the problem - not the doubtlessly underpaid staff who work there.

The whole experience represents a costly disappointment, to the utter detriment of the paying customer - and guarantees that I for one would not only never recommend this experience to anyone, but also have no intention of providing this company with any future custom of mine, nor would I recommend to anyone.

Easy to use website. Putting details in was also easy good amount of options to get the right policy for us

I've given 4 stars but that really doesn't mean anything other than it was easy enough to get a quote and the price wasn't the highest or the lowest.
A TRUE ranking will come if there is a need to make a claim.

Very simple very easy to use app and insurance claim is just as good or better than the more expensive options

I was in an accident that was not my fault, the 3rd party has admitted liability. My car is still not being repaired and I am also without any transport despite paying extra on my policy to ensure this would never happen. Would never ever use this insurance company again, nor would I advise anyone else to no matter how cheap the policy may be as they’ll cause you nothing but a headache and play emotional warfare with you while you go through an already stressful time.

I am really enjoying the You Drive app, especially as a new driver it is useful to be able to go on a check my driving score plus it makes it easy to update information or add/remove named drivers. Hastings also had the best rates for me as a new driver compared to all the other places
