Using Moodle and BBB to deliver a national online programme in England
MEI (Mathematics in Education and Industry) works with the Department of Education in England to provide an online course for students in schools to support their study of Further Maths A Level.
In this session we will look at the structure of the learning, which uses a flipped model, with students accessing a variety of learning resources on our learning platform integral (which is moodle based) and how our weekly lessons in Big Blue Button complement their individual learning. We will reflect upon the pros and cons of this model.
About Paul
This session will be led by Paul Chillingworth, who is the tuition coordinator for MEI. He has worked for MEI (Mathematics in Education and Industry) for 10 years and prior to that worked in schools in England and Hong Kong.
