Terrible coverage
Experienced a delay which led to missed connection flight. Arrived 19 hours after scheduled arrival but told can't make a claim due to one specific flight not being delayed by more than 12 hours... why bother paying for insurance.

Good, but could be better.
The agent handled my renewal very efficiently. However, he completely confused me by saying that a health declaration would have an impact on my existing cover, which is not due to expire until the end of this month. It felt strange that the cover was being changed during the policy period and he could not explain this satisfactorily.

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience – Coverwise (underwritten by AXA)
My travel insurance was with Coverwise, which uses AXA for claims, and the whole process has been a nightmare. I had to cancel my trip because my wife had an ectopic pregnancy. She wasn’t even travelling with me, but I still sent every document they asked for.
Despite that, AXA kept asking for the same documents again and again, and each reply took around two weeks, leaving me waiting with no progress. They also sent a complicated medical form that was repetitive, and even when I filled out the correct section, they came back two weeks later asking for the same information in another section.
Just want people to be aware that Coverwise uses AXA for claims, and AXA’s reviews and service reflect exactly what I experienced — slow, repetitive, and very frustrating.

I’d rate it 0 stars if it would let me
I’d rate it 0 stars if it would let me. After being sent a link from their own contact centre team, I’ve completed all requirements, including getting my GP to complete a medical form on my behalf (at a cost). 2 weeks after submitting, they’re telling me I’ve got to use a different form from what they sent me. Clearly a tactic to delay my claim and push me to giving up on the process. Shameful service.
