It justifies its price
Xiaomi phones might not be the best in the world but it justifies its price. They last longer than iPhones and I’m saying this as someone who had three versions of iPhone. The battery life is much more sustainable and apps run smoothly also if you know how to trade a phone properly, not dropping it from your pocket every time and so forth. In any event, it’s good.

Dear mi I have purchased an xiaomi tv…
Dear mi I have purchased an xiaomi tv from the Croma Vesu branch Date - 1-10-25 In my TV The issue of chrome cast started from the same day. I made several calls but the problem has not been resolved yet.I did not enjoy the service, I have removed the TV and kept it aside, I am upset.
Their support is an absolute joke.
Bought a new Xiaomi phone on Amazon, spend a good amount of money on it too. Tried to sign up for a Xiaomi account and it said my email was already used. Guess I used it in the past for another Xiaomi device.
I click reset password and reset it but after that I am prompted with a message my account is somehow locked to China and I must verify my account with a Chinese phone number before I can go any further. I can not even delete my account.
Never been to China, never signed up using a Chinese VPN so why did this happen? I have no clue. So I email support and they just tell me to make a new account on a new email. How does that fix my problem? I want to use my own email not make a new one specially for them to use on my new 500+ euro phone. This must be a joke right?
So I call them and their Dutch representative says the same. Just make a new account, just make a new email address somewhere. Like really? Instead of fixing the customers problem you just tell them to make a new email address.
You know what Xiaomi? I will buy another brand of phone and return this as part of my 14 days consumer rights. Must suck for them to operate in places with actual consumer rights.
Also fun fact; when you call them there at least 3 different times when they tell you everything is recorded and stored on their server in accordance not with the GDPR, no no. It is stored in accordance of their own privacy policy. Which is paper thin compared to the GDPR. Guess EU law does not apply on them?
What a terrible company. Never will I burn my fingers again on this brand. I can't even delete my account without having a Chinese phone number. How is it even possible my account got tied to China of all places?
So good luck to you if this happens to your Xiaomi account where you might have photos and other information stored. You will never get back in. Xiaomi will never delete it and you also can never delete it.
Smh.
I bought the Xiaomi vacuum robot

Xiaomi Turkey’s Operations Are Failing Consumers
I placed an order on Xiaomi Turkey’s official website but accidentally selected the wrong color. I tried to cancel the order, but neither the website nor the mobile app allowed me to do so. Although there was a “Cancel Order” option, it was not functional. Therefore, I first sent an email, and the following morning I called the call center. The customer representative assured me that the order would be canceled and that there was no problem. Despite this, later that same evening I received a message stating “your order has been shipped,” and the unwanted product was dispatched.
The process I have experienced as a consumer in Turkey unfortunately demonstrates that Xiaomi’s operations in Turkey are being managed in an unprofessional and amateur manner that does not meet the standards or expectations of a truly global brand. For a company that reaches millions of customers worldwide and claims to be a leader in the technology industry, providing such a poor customer experience in Turkey is simply unacceptable.
This case is not only about my individual grievance but is also a clear example of a much broader operational issue in your Turkish market. The inability to perform a basic function such as order cancellation via the app or website, combined with the lack of coordination between the call center and after-sales departments, and the subsequent forced shipment of an unwanted product, reflects a failure that undermines consumer trust and damages the image of a global brand.
It is essential that Xiaomi elevate its customer experience in Turkey to global standards—not only to resolve individual cases like mine, but also to protect and strengthen the brand’s reputation.
Customer Service
Redmi Note 14 received however the paper around the phone was glued and not removable from the back.
Raised a web ticket for replacement on 29/9 followed by a telephone call on 1/10 to confirm my replacement was being actioned. Call centre informed me a jiffy bag would arrive by today. No jiffy bag.
Further call to call centre today only to be informed no action has been taken and the tech team would be alerted to issue the jiffy bag.
Currently using Redmi 10 5g
Currently using Redmi 10 5g. Lasted 2 years for me before experiencing some battery and charging port issues(Slow charging and loose charging port. It gets me through gaming barely minimum settings but it does the job on Wildrift and HOK. I think the reason for the issues is overheating which happens frequently when I'm playing. There's also a frequent crash on games when it's hot. Other features are irrelevant to me as I'm not really keen on other usage other than day to day calls and messages. I also freqeumtly use the camera to take pictures of my cat, the camera is pretty average to me.
Shit software
Shit software, i bought a xiaomi 13 pro 5g i can't make videos because of the lag, now i can't even make time lapse and slow motion because they removed it with updates. This is bloody crazy guys. Don't buy xiaomi
WARNING: They Will Take Your Device and Won't Return It - Over 1 Month and Counting
I am writing this review to warn potential buyers about the horrific customer service you will face if anything goes wrong with your Xiaomi product. My experience has been an absolute nightmare.
The Problem (July 2025): I bought a Smart Band 10 with a "free" Cuban Chain Strap. The strap was defective, constantly unclipping and causing the band to fall off. The band itself worked perfectly.
The Ongoing Nightmare (August-September 2025):
Forced to Send a Working Device: Despite me repeatedly explaining that only the strap was broken, Xiaomi UK support insisted I send my fully functional Smart Band 10 along with the strap to their repair centre (SBE Ltd). It was delivered on 26th August.
Admitted They Couldn't Fix It (29th August): Within days, they confirmed the strap was faulty and out of stock. They offered a £20 coupon, which was insufficient to buy a replacement.
They Have Now Stolen My Device: This is the worst part. Even though they knew they couldn't repair the strap over a month ago, they have still not returned my Smart Band 10.
Contradictory, Incompetent Communication: I have received over 20 emails from at least 7 different agents (Tarsh, Jeremy, Aishah, Darvin, Ammar, Iqram, Caleb). They give conflicting information, ignore my questions, and offer pointless "goodwill gestures". One agent confirmed the return was being arranged, but others now say they are "waiting for feedback." As of today, over a month after they received my device, I have no tracking number and no idea when I will get my property back.
The "Non-Resolution": After weeks of complaining, they increased the coupon to £30. I had to pay the shipping fee myself to order a replacement strap. However, this is meaningless because THEY ARE STILL WITHHOLDING THE MAIN DEVICE.
(UPDATE - Early October 2025): My Smart Band 10 has finally been returned. However, it arrived without any prior notification, tracking number, or follow-up email. It simply appeared, which was as stressful as the rest of the process. This entire experience, from start to finish, was a masterclass in poor communication and customer neglect.
Best service and pricing i have ever…
Best service and pricing i have ever seen they release budget phones and many more useful things.
I purchased Redmi 6 play earbuds
I purchased Redmi 6 play earbuds, sadly the left one stopped charging after a couple of months, I contacted their customer support who sent out a padded envelope for return to their repairs department. Have received replacement earbuds as I’m guessing not repairable. Seamless process, well done Xiaomi, and the earbuds are great, first ones I’ve had that will actually stay in my ears!
Serious Safety Issue & Refund Still Not Resolved
I purchased a new Xiaomi scooter (through the Mi Store app) to replace my old Xiaomi Scooter 3, which was excellent and never gave me issues. After only 3–4 rides on the new scooter, the stem safety mechanism (folding lock) suddenly opened while I was riding at 25 km/h, causing the stem to collapse mid-ride. This was extremely dangerous and left me with no confidence in the scooter’s safety.
I reported the issue to Xiaomi Belgium and requested a refund. After weeks of silence, I had to escalate through Xiaomi Global and was eventually redirected to Xiaomi Netherlands. They asked me to return the scooter, which I did, and confirmed that a refund would be issued.
After providing my IBAN, I was told the refund would arrive within 14 business days. That deadline passed, and despite multiple follow-ups I still had no refund. The team acknowledged my case but said they could not provide updates, as refunds are handled by a different department.
Update: I eventually received the full refund, but only after 18 business days and 3 update requests. It was an instant transfer, which could have been processed the same day they confirmed they would refund me after receiving the scooter back.
Anyway, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Xiaomi scooters. I cannot speak for their other devices, but the combination of a serious safety issue and very slow CS/Warranty processes has left me unwilling to buy Xiaomi products again.
I purchased the **Xiaomi 5X L55M6-ES 55…
I purchased the **Xiaomi 5X L55M6-ES 55 Inch LED 4K TV** and within a very short time it has turned out to be the worst experience ever. The TV is **not turning on at all** despite trying every possible way.
I registered a complaint on **Friday**, but the call center did not even bother to forward my complaint to the concerned team. When I tried registering another complaint, the system kept saying “your complaint is already registered.” On **Monday**, after repeated follow-ups, the call center executive told me *“today I will forward your request.”* At the end of the day, I was told they don’t even have a **field officer available**, and they will “look into it tomorrow.”
This clearly shows **Xiaomi has zero responsibility, no proper service system, and careless customer support.** They happily sell products, but when issues arise, the customer is left helpless.
➡️ **Pathetic service**
➡️ **Irresponsible call center support**
➡️ **No service staff available when needed**
➡️ **Customer is forced to wait endlessly**
This is my **worst purchase ever** and I strongly suggest — **DO NOT BUY ANY XIAOMI PRODUCT.** Once you face an issue, you will regret it badly.
GARBAGE
GARBAGE! THEIR PRODUCTS ARE A TOTAL GARBAGE! My new smartphone just died, after only a few years. TOTAL SHIT OF A COMPANY!
Made a big mistake getting a Xiaomi phone
Had my first ever Xiaomi 15 ultra since launch. Just 3 months in I started having issues with "ghost touching" where the keys pressing themselves . Never had I had this issue with any device previously.
It's so bad my phone is basically unusable. It's very difficult to contact Xiaomi as they are all in china.
They want me to return the phone so they can check for repairs which is not realistic because that means I will be without a phone for probably a whole month..
I am NEVER EVER getting a Xiaomi phone ever again
