Esports at KSU is a collection of intercollegiate competitive teams, events for students, campus resources, and a growing social community all geared toward esports. Contributions to the KSU Esports Program fund scholarship opportunities for Varsity Esports student-athletes, equipment, travel to tournaments, and esports events on campus.

Premier Teams

Kennesaw State Esports fields 2 premier teams, one team for each of the following titles: League of Legends and Rocket League. These premier teams receive jerseys, professional and year-round wellness coaching, and priority access to our esports space. Our premier League of Legends team fields a roster of 10 students, and our premier Rocket League team fields a roster of 6 students.

Interested in joining one of our Premier Teams? Tryouts occur on an annual basis in late July/early August. Join our Discord for updates on tryouts or email [email protected] for additional information.

League of Legends

The Premier League of Legends team at Kennesaw State University mainly competes in the Peachbelt Conference during the Spring. In addition to the Spring series hosted by Peachbelt, the team also competes in various fall competitions. Tryouts for the team are conducted every summer/early fall. Details on specific dates and times will be listed on Discord.

Rocket League

The Premier Rocket League team mainly competes in the Collegiate Rocket League Series (CRL) in the 3v3 format in both Fall and Spring. In addition to the series hosted by CRL, the team also competes in various competitions throughout the school year. Tryouts for the team are conducted every summer/early fall. Competition Clubs

The Esports Competition Clubs at Kennesaw State are student-run, student led clubs that focus on fielding teams to compete in intercollegiate competition against other colleges and universities in their respective game title. These teams represent some of the most competitive players at KSU and have a strong track record of signature wins over other teams across the nation. Membership in a competition club is open to any KSU student, and even though each club will field multiple teams, competing on the top level team for each club is not guaranteed. Esports Club

The Esports Club consists of esports fans from League of Legends, StarCraft, Super Smash Bros., and everything in between. If you enjoy playing, watching, or discussing esports from across the globe, this is the place for you. Esports Space

Marietta Game Room

The Game Room in the Marietta Student Center contains 12 different state-of-the-art gaming workstations for students to use as well as 2 plug-and-play console areas. The Game Room is accessible whenever the Student Center is open unless reserved for team practice/matches.
Marietta Game Lab

Located in the Atrium Building Room J202, the Game Lab features 40 gaming workstations. The Game Lab is available to students M-F 6:00-11:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm (closed Sunday).
Kennesaw Loft Student Lounge

The Loft Student Lounge is an open floor space on the third floor of the Carmichael Student Center in Kennesaw. It features 15 plug-and-play console stations with comfortable seating and is available whenever the Student Center is open (unless reserved for an event).
