Signing up was very straightforward, card machine delivered promptly and was easy to set up. Had a couple of questions which were answered quickly.
All in all a smooth transition from previous provider
I had a great experience with Luke and the team.

Why not a VAT receipt?
Last night, it seemed that every bar and restaurant we went to had a Dojo card payment system. And after each transaction we were give the opportunity to have the receipt emailed to us. Some even made the process easier by displaying a QR code on the terminal.
Today, I got to the office to see that every one of them says "This is not a VAT receipt".
Buyers of vatted products in the UK are entitled to a VAT receipt. It's extremely disingenuous to offer a receipt and it not ba a VAT receipt. The offer should be for a card payment confirmation.

i spent more time on the phone resolving issues chargebacks shutting of your account on a weekends when you have staff to pay i did not have a great experience with this company and would not recommend

kfir @dojo was next level in addressing all our concerns and was very helpful in getting us moved over to dojo, its great when you save money being small bizniz but most importantly kfir called in many times to make sure everything was all working. we moved from izettle and are saving money already and i must say the app and device for taking card transactions is easy, also we get paid every day. thanks

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. I was charged multiple times for a card machine, even though the terminal they originally sent me was faulty. On top of that, the transaction fees they billed me were completely different from the rates their team had promised in writing.
I also want to highlight that you should not believe everything the sales rep tells you—they will say whatever they need to in order to get you to sign up. In my case, the promises made upfront simply weren’t reflected in the actual charges or contract, and once I was signed in, everything changed.
Every time I raised concerns, I received conflicting information from different staff members. I was even offered lower rates to stop me from switching providers—yet those rates were never actually applied to my account. Instead, I continued to be overcharged with no explanation.
The lack of transparency, incorrect billing, and poor communication have made this whole process incredibly frustrating. As a small business owner, I rely on honest and consistent service, and unfortunately this company has not delivered that.
I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

Dojo’s approach to business is nothing short of appalling. Despite our company repeatedly and clearly stating that we are not interested in their card machine services, they continue to hound us relentlessly with calls.This is not persistence, it’s harassment.
It is absolutely unacceptable for any company to ignore a clear refusal and continue to badger potential clients. Their sales tactics are desperate, pushy, and completely disrespectful. Dojo clearly values making a sale more than basic human decency or professional conduct.
If you are a business considering Dojo, beware: their representatives will not take “no” for an answer and will treat you as nothing more than a target for their aggressive sales quotas. This is not professional, ethical, or trustworthy behaviour….it is harassment.
It was like listening to someone who had swallowed a radio.
