My agent for take payments was Hannah Taylor she was very friendly, polite & helpful, helped me set up my card machine step by step. Overall great experience
this company not have a single responsible person
I don’t even know where to start. We decided to try a more professional POS system after seeing the advertisements and got in touch. They came, set everything up (or so we were told), delivered the POS device, and said there would be a 14-day trial period.
However, nothing was actually set up, and we never got to use or test the device. I’ve had countless phone conversations with multiple people, lasting hours, and I’ve lost track of the number of calls. Every time, the response was the same: “a representative will call you,” but no one ever called.
I persistently tried to reach the managers myself. They told me they had made a note and someone would get back to me immediately — yet no one ever did. When we finally asked them to take back the POS device that we never used, the response was absurd: “Your 14-day trial period has expired. We cannot cancel.”
Now, they are sending monthly usage invoices as if nothing has happened. What I cannot understand is, does this company not have a single responsible person to check whether the POS device is actually being used, if there is money flowing in or out, or if there is any issue?
Long story short, our experience with this company has been a disaster. If there were negative stars, I would give them that, but there aren’t.

We have been with our existing company for a number of years and decided to test out the market for alternative suppliers.
Owen Kenny explained the benefits of joining Takepayments, which compared extremely favourably with our current system. Much better terms of trading after going through the previous year's trading details with him.
The sign-up details were straightforward, with a minimum of detailed paperwork to complete.
On arrival of the terminal, Courben Pound talked me through the set-up and the link-up with the wifi system. Everything worked the first time, and all detailed questions were answered thoroughly.
On opening the package, the base unit was missing, but after mentioning this to Courben, he placed an order, which arrived the next day by courier.
Brilliant service, very pleased to recommend.

I've always had great service from Takepayments. Today Nadine was fantastic over the phone and delivered the friendly attentive service I have come to expect from this company.
Stay away from these guys.
I had a very disappointing experience with this company. Even after requesting a settlement figure to close things out fairly, they declined. When the contract ended, they then added large “non-usage” fees, which felt unreasonable. In my view, their card-machine service is overpriced, and it’s worth looking elsewhere for a standalone card terminal. I would personally advise caution based on my experience.
If you shop around you will most likely find someone better and alot cheaper trust you want nothing to do with this company. Also I can say for sure that most of these reviews are fake.
