The problem started following my order when I was sent a link to select a delivery date. The page kept reloading/not loading fully and I consequently ended up selecting a date 2 weeks later. Customer services is via email only. I emailed with screen shots of the issue and quickly got a response saying they had changed my date to the soonest available however this will still a week wait. The delivery day came, the item did not show and I sent multiple emails with no response throughout the daytime. I later received an email apologising to say there has been a problem and that my order had been cancelled (2-4 day refund) but I could go back on to the website and order another (with a gesture discount code offered). I actually worried at this point due to it being such a farce that the order I made was a con, contacting my banks fraud team. I have never used this brand but thought I’d give it a try. I received my refund and needless to say I didn’t place a further order. I ordered with Currys (not the same brand as I would worry what the service would be like if I had a problem with the item). Currys delivered within 3 days with excellent communication and regular updates!

My fridge stopped cooling, so I booked an engineer visit for 23/11/25. The engineer arrived on time, was friendly, and explained that the most likely cause was a refrigerant (gas) issue. Since he was an electrician, he said a second appointment with a gas engineer would be needed.
On 28/11/25, the gas engineer also arrived on time and was equally friendly. However, he explained that he had only been booked for a 30-minute slot, which is not enough time to re-gas the fridge. This meant another appointment had to be arranged — effectively sending an engineer out knowing the job couldn’t be completed.
A new appointment has now been booked for 05/12/25. I called to ask if an earlier slot was available and to question why an engineer was sent with only 30 minutes for an integrated larder fridge. I was then told that the engineer reported the fridge needs parts — something he apparently determined just by opening and closing the door. If it was that straightforward, why weren’t the parts brought in the first place?
It also seems there is only one department customers can speak to, and they genuinely cannot do anything other than apologise (I actually feel bad for the staff). There’s no supervisor or manager available, and the response seems to be that “it is what it is.”
The first appointment was on a Sunday, so it didn’t affect my work schedule. However, the second and third appointments are on weekdays, meaning I now have to take two days off work for the repair. I’ve already committed to paying £240 for insurance since the fridge is out of labour warranty, and once I factor in the time taken off work, the total cost is getting close to the price of a brand-new replacement.

From initial online purchase to delivery we were kept informed.
Any questions were answered promptly.
On arrival the guys checked the route and professionally delivered and unpacked our fridge freezer. Leaving it exactly where we wanted it and took away all packaging. Fridge freezer looks great. Very happy. Highly recommend.

My tumble dryer is one of the ones that has been recalled as a heat pump tumble dryer. Last week we had a technician come to do the modification and within less than 24 hours we received a message to say don’t use it. The modification was defective. They emailed to say they would replace the tumble dryer we called them went through to 3 different people who then stated they couldn’t find the account but eventually did and said it was booked for Monday. This then changed to Friday, the 21st of November 2025 which is tomorrow only for me to click on the delivery tonight to find out the order has been cancelled without any warning or any notification by the company. They previously said that they would pay as compensation for having to constantly use the launderette we both work full-time in very demanding jobs and are actually appalled at the service that we have been provided with no communication.
I will start the calls again tomorrow to find out why the order has been cancelled with no confirmation. No email no text message and no communication from this company. I’m really hoping that they see this message and respond however I’m not holding out much hope.
I will never buy another product such as this if this company is involved as their customer service is shocking

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Haier has been so shockingly bad that future customers deserve to be warned.
I ordered an integrated Haier washing machine expecting a reliable product from a well-known brand. Instead, I have dealt with two faulty machines in a row, extra costs, stress, and a customer service team that seems completely unprepared to support the products they sell.
First machine:
The very first unit delivered arrived with a broken door lock straight out of the box. This was discovered only after installation, which meant I had to pay a builder to come out and uninstall it—money that I should never have had to spend on a brand-new appliance.
Second machine:
Haier then sent a replacement. Shockingly, this second unit was also faulty within days of installation. When I contacted customer service, I was told that they have no time frame for supplying the replacement part needed to fix it. No urgency, no ownership, and no solutions.
Instead of resolving the issue properly, Haier now wants to send me yet another replacement machine—which means I will once again have to pay my builder £125 out of my own pocket to uninstall and reinstall another unit. At this point, I have paid more in labour costs than the machine is worth in peace of mind.
The stress, inconvenience, and disruption this has caused my household is unbelievable. Haier’s products have proven to be deeply unreliable, and their after-sales support is even worse. A global manufacturer unable to provide basic spare parts for a machine that failed within a week is completely unacceptable.
This entire experience has destroyed my confidence in Haier as a brand. Two faulty machines back-to-back is not bad luck—it is a serious quality-control failure. Anyone considering a Haier appliance should think very carefully before buying. Based on what I’ve gone through, I cannot recommend this brand to anyone.
If Haier does not fix this proactively and immediately, they will continue losing customers—starting with me, permanently.

We had a brand new kitchen fitted last year with all Haier appliances - fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, hob and extractor fan. It all looks fantastic, but the quality and reliability is diabolical. In less than a year we’ve had a faulty microwave replaced, the dishwasher door hinge has broken and now the oven keeps turning off. The fridge constantly has water running down the back and if anything touches the back of the fridge, it freezes. The oven leaks steam and drips condensation, which means the surrounding cupboard doors will soon be ruined. We’re just waiting for the next thing to go wrong.
Speaking to customer services is a chore as well because you have to spend 10-15 minutes giving all the information to a robot and then you have to repeat it all again once you get through to a human. It’s so frustrating!!
We are currently waiting for an engineer to order a new hinge for the dishwasher door and come back to fit it and we have an engineer booked to look at our oven.
I wish we had seen these reviews before we purchased the kitchen appliances. We will not buy any Haier products again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I am extremely concerned by both a serious safety failure with our Haier 508L American Fridge Freezer (HB18FGSAAA, purchased July 2022) and the response I received from Haier.
Yesterday morning, only minutes after opening the blinds, the glass front of the fridge door spontaneously exploded. There was no impact, damage, or heat source. A loud crack was followed by the glass shattering across the door, with a section in the top corner falling away completely and the rest of the glass creaking and cracked. Thankfully no one was standing in front of it — it could easily have caused a significant injury.
I contacted Haier immediately, providing the full details and photos. I asked whether there were known issues with this model, whether an engineer could inspect it, and whether Haier could offer a replacement door or any goodwill safety support.
The response I received simply informed me that because the fridge is over 24 months old, it is outside the standard warranty, and I should arrange and pay for repairs through their out-of-warranty team. No acknowledgement of the safety concern. No comment on a spontaneous structural failure. No inspection offered. No attempt to investigate.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers are protected for up to six years (five in Scotland). This applies to the entire product — including components such as the glass door. A fridge door exploding spontaneously is not normal wear and tear, and it is extremely troubling that Haier’s response was limited to warranty terms rather than addressing the clear safety implications.
I’m very disappointed in how this has been handled. We chose Haier because we believed we were buying a reliable, safe appliance. Based on this experience, I would urge others to be cautious.

Absolutely diabolical service. Would give no stars if it was possible. No phone to contact very convenient. Waited in all day for delivery never came. No contact or apology from Haier Eventually got washing machine delivered and delivery man couldn’t install despite paying for this service. Been waiting for refund since 29/10/25 !!

Completely incompetent people, dryer failed twice, same issue and its a known manufacturing fault. the engineer advised the machine needs to be written off and asked to contact Haier direct, I did and i got told they cant write the machine off, only the engineer can, I asked to escalate to a manager and was refused. Stay away from this brand, they are a total waste of time and not worth the money. Was told the dryer in dangerous but Haier still want to carry out a botched repair on machine which has known manufacturing defects. I will be looking to take them legal.
Go to all their social media account and let people know about how crap this brand is.

I’m absolutely fuming with Haier. We purchased our dryer from Howdens a little over two years ago. We were limited to what we could buy as we went integrated so opted for the own brand, Lamona. What an error of judgement. Whilst the machine wasn’t great it served a purpose until late last year we received our first safety recall. The guy came on new years’ eve and did what I guess he needed to do. In early summer of 2025 we received another safety recall (we later discovered it was because they weren’t satisfied with the pictures taken by the first guy 🤷♂️). He came on September the 15th and supposedly sorted whatever needed sorted. We then received another letter 11 days later requesting a safety call (we hadn’t used the machine in the short period due to nice weather). Whilst the third letter advised not to use the machine we really needed to use the machine. However, upon using the machine, we discovered that there was ZERO heat coming from the machine - a now completely useless machine. Following a couple of hours arguing with AI (what is wrong with me) and later a human, they decided that it might not be something the engineer did due to the timescale between ‘fixing’ and getting in touch, and that we needed to get in touch in seven days. Keep up, remember we didn’t need to use the machine in the interim. Apparently there was nothing they could do, and guess what we were referred to Howdens who actually advised me to do exactly what I am doing now and leave a review!!! They’ve had untold problems as well. Anyway, long and short unless we buy a new machine or pay someone to come and fix (why should we!!!), we are left with an absolute waste of of space, a space that was, until this summer, filled with a working machine. As I say, I’m absolutely fuming and I’d urge someone to respond to me so that I can gain a little bit of trust back in this organisation. Utterly atrocious . Bought a new tumble dryer. Got a letter on 9th August saying “do not use - dryer is dangerous”. Then it has taken them until 2nd December to give us a date to replace the dangerous part.
