I tried phoning HN a few times times after being told several days before, at the point of purchase that we would receive a call to confirm a delivery timeframe. Everything we ordered was in stock except for one item, so we were even considering splitting it into two deliveries. Most calls went unanswered, and when someone did pick up, the call was immediately hung up. When I finally managed to get through, I was told someone would call me back with an update shortly, but nobody ever did.
Understanding that it’s a busy time of year, I tried contacting them by email instead. I sent an email, then a follow-up five days later when their stated response time is 24 hours. Again, nothing. It would be nice to at least be acknowledged, especially considering that the items which were in stock at the time of purchase are now gone, despite the order being paid in full and us simply waiting on them to arrange delivery.
It's quite obvious that they are lacking staff but at this point, it feels like they tell you whatever is needed to complete the sale, and then disappear once the payment is made.
Pretty quick and all supplied. However didn't give much notice of delivery date and package came ripped.

The Harvey Norman workers were very efficient and the bed was put up in 20 minutes but they were very abrupt and rough in the house I have a sick parent living here , but manners is needed.

Paul and his assistant were extremely helpful and efficient .. did a great job for us and cleaned up after them .Paul and the young lad with him both had a lovely personality.. Harvey Norman is lucky to have them on their team !
I was in today to buy a memory card for my camera. I was told by the sales associate that the only one that would fit into my camera was the 128GB for €50, or the 256GB for €90. I was really taken back, but I was told these were the only two that would work for my camera.
I left the store and returned a few minutes later. I spoke to another sales associate, and told him what his college had said. He looked at the camera as well, and said because it could only shoot in HD, the 128GB for €35 would be far more appropriate. He said that's all the storage I would need starting off. I walked out with that one.
I feel I was taken advantage of, as I mentioned I was just a beginner, and I didnt know what I needed. Im really disappointed on how I was treated. The fact that I almost walked out of a store with something thats 1/5 of what I get payed a week, that wouldn't have worked? Really bad business.
Was sent the wrong item. Went to carrikmines store as its my local harvey norman to return item you sent me and exchange for the product I ordered and paid for. There was none in stock in carrikmines, so I had to drive to your rathfarnam store as I was told by a shop assistant in carrikmines there were 13 of the products in store. Had to wait in the ratfarnam store for over an hour, as they needed to get in touch with the naas store to make sure the details were correct. So basically, a terrible experience and a huge waste of my time.
