I had high hopes after checking the reviews here on Trustpilot before ordering an iPhone XR...

But when I opened the box, I was shocked to see the insane damage all around the frame. It looked as if the entire phone had been bounced over a gravel road a bunch of times because there were many small chunks taken out of the aluminum frame, especially on the corners! It looks terrible! And that is somehow what they call a "very good" condition...

Despite the damage, I decided to try out the iPhone to see if there were any other obvious flaws with it. And yes, there were: 1; the original battery had been replaced with a third-party one, which means iOS is unable to estimate the health. 2; the display also had been replaced (which makes a lot of sense based on how spotless it is and how bad the surrounding frame looks) with a cheap one so the color balance was heavily tilted towards green.... very ugly! A stock iPhone XR display does not have that.

At that point I decided to start the return process. I sent them an email on the 1st of November. It's 4 days later and no reply at all. So today I decided to call them. It took more time to wait for someone to pick up than the length of the conversation once someone did pick up.

I got someone on the line who doesn't speak proper Dutch, had a very very thick foreign accent, and she gave me the usual nonsense about "damage to the chassis is included within our description of what 'very good' means". Which is absolutely disgusting in my opinion, because it wasn't just a light scratch here and there, it literally had many small chunks taken out of the aluminum all over the frame. It is obvious to me that this company is trying to bend the rules in their favor. And I know what they are trying to do: make it sound like you have no reason to complain because "I told you so".

But I refused to be just pushed aside by this disgusting tactic so I had to invoke my rights as an EU Citizen -- which allows me to return the product within 14 days of purchase for ANY reason. She then proceeded to tell me that it'll cost almost 10 EUR to return the phone! So I had to remind her AGAIN: EU Consumer Protection Laws clearly state that if the consumer returns the product, all costs should be refunded, INCLUDING any fees for sending it back....

And then suddenly, a "magic door" opened: she was suddenly able to give me a free return... isn't that interesting? So somehow, the people at this company think it is okay to continuously violate EU law, and when someone like me comes along to tell them my rights, they suddenly change their tune...

I will NEVER buy from this company ever again.

I highly recommend Mobicot, I have purchased from them several times and always received a perfect phone. I recommend them to everyone.

How I took the wrong decision buying from MOBICO!!!
Be careful with this company, you should not trust it, and try to avoid buying from it.
I purchased refurbished iPhone from MOBICO, since it is a DUTCH company, promising 2-year warranty for the device.
Wrong decision!!! No real warranty!!!
The screen was faulty, non-genuine, and after 2 months it stopped working.
I asked for replacement and received a request to pay for a repair of about 200 euros.
No client service, no management, no guarantee.
I suspected them to scam me, so I took the phone to PhoneLab to check and repair the phone.
The check said that the screen is the cheapest one and tends to break easily. I paid for the repair myself.
I even asked them when I bought it if the screen is genuine and they said yes, otherwise I'd never ever buy this phone.
So be careful

Twice I was sent a phone where the software malfunctioned. The phone constantly timed out. After returning the phone, I was told that I was not logged out of icloud. I spent half an hour with apple looking for the problem, but in the end apple said that yes I was logged out. The customer service was pretty good apart from the icloud issue. I am sending the second phone back because it had the same software issue as the first and will try again with another company.

Update: I have my new phone from another company. I could set it up within 15 minutes. I spent hours on the mobico phone. If it doesn’t work immediately, send it back and do not spend hours trying to fix it, like I did!
Mobico was quick to refund money too. Again customer service was excellent!

Ik heb de refurbished iPhone 10R gekocht voor de vriendin die, komende van een IPhone 6s er erg blij mee is. Het toestel werd netjes ingepakt en snel geleverd. Tot verrassing werd het toestel geleverd met gratis screenprotector en oplaadsetje! Wow, wat een service!

After sales support was excellent. I have purchased two phones from the company. One phone stopped working after about 5 months. It was replaced under the guarantee. The process was very quick and efficient.

We have just purchased a refurbished iPhone through Mobico NL. What a fantastic experience: the phone itself is near new, there a no signs of any usage, the battery seems brand new, data transfer was flawless and it operates like a new phone.
The service from Mobico NL was perfect. They delivered what they said they would, at the time they indicated and it seems to be backed up with a good warranty.

Perfect, have been buying mobile phones for my mother and I for years. They have never disappointed me.

iPhone came in excellent condition including all stated extras!

They sold me a phone labeled "as new", but didnt work (it was continuously turning on and off), so sent it back, but then again received back a not working phone, claiming it was reviewed, repairing. Of course, given no trust after this experience requested a refund, still waiting.
Overall not a professional approach. Also for sending back the phone you need to pay yourself the postal costs. Would not recommend the services on this web-shop.
