I purchased a manufacturer home from Suzhou Guxin Steel Structure Engineering Co on the Alibaba platform under the Trade Assurance Policy. The delivery was over a month late. When it arrived, there were no installation instructions. The roof I ordered was missing and the terrace was bent. Holes to assemble were not drilled. Roof leaked. Toilet, door lock and window lock were broken. The house was stated to comply with Canadian codes and if does not. Floor plan was wrong. I reported these deficiencies immediately, approx 2 months ago and no attempt to correct any of these issues has been delivered by the seller. Alibaba Trade Assurance platform guarantees the owner will respond to complaints within 5 calendar days if it will automatically refund to buyer (me). It has not done so.

I would like to advise caution regarding Alibaba. I recently purchased a projector through their platform, and unfortunately, both Alibaba and the seller have been uncooperative in providing a refund or resolution.

BEWARE of Alibaba and supplier, Nanchang Dian Chuang…
The supplier, Nanchang Dian Chuang Packaging, is not to be trusted. I had the unfortunate experience of ordering from this supplier. I had no choice but to lose the money I paid (as it turns out) damaged goods. The way Alibaba treated this dispute was disgraceful. I wasn’t even given partial refund or any type grace (no apology or any type on monetary compensation) for the distress this vendor/supplier put me through.
A horrible, horrible experience. I do not recommend. I have so many pictures and videos. I wish I can upload them so the world can see how this vendor/supplier executed my designs and how Alibaba supported them.
AGAIN…Nanchang Dian Chuang Packaging is NOT to be trusted. Neither is Alibaba! The magnetics on the boxes didn’t latch on. Many of the boxes were missing adhesive backings, the boxes were dented. Countless of design issues! And guess what Nanchang Dian Chuang Packaging response was? The pictures and videos I’ve uploaded were evidence of damages due to the transport from China to the US. Transport! Jason is implying that the courier removed the adhesive backings mid-flight? The magnetics are not latching on because of turbulence. And here’s what’s most distressing…Jason is using the dispute as justification for the piss-poor job. BoA didn’t find in my favor because Alibaba lied about the return of the boxes (the process and what was communicated to me). In fact, all the evidence I submitted was not in question. The damages, the discrepancies were documented, and time-stamped. Nanchang Dian Chuang Packaging (Jason) were not able to dispute that.,The discrepancies and damages were clearly and accurately reported. It wasAlibaba that was making the return of the boxes difficult. I even demanded Nanchang Dian Chuang Packaging please upload any evidence that contradicts mines. Jason submitted everything but!
And that farse of a banking institution named Bank of America should be named Bank of China. BoA told me I must go to the locate authorities to submit my dispute because BoA can’t do anything because the manufacturer is oversees. My jaw dropped when they told me that. Then went on to say, I should have been more diligent with vetting the supplier. And that it is clear on their end that the supplier is a scammer but BoA didn’t pay them, I did. I kept asking BoA, as the buyer, you advocates for us? BoA’s response, we are only responsible for the transfer of funds, we do not protect the transactions from fraud, or scams.
And to add insult to injury, as BoA’s client I can only fax my evidence. I cannot email or submit videos through a portal.

Cheating and biased customer service, failed to compensate
I purchased a home battery from Alibaba for $6600. For protecting my purchase I relied on Alibaba purchase protection plan. Similarly to Ebay or Amazon I was hoping if there are any issues with the purchase, such as missing components, faulty or defective parts, Alibaba will protect my rights as the purchase was expensive and coming from China.
After installation I have noticed that one of the two charging ports doesn't work. I reported that to the seller who didn't want to do anything about it. After several attempts I contacted Alibaba customer support and initiated a 1-year protection investigation dispute. Both the seller and Alibaba were guaranteeing protection sent to me at the time of the battery purchase. After hiring an independent repair company who diagnosed the problem the problem was found in the inverter control board. Two videos, pictures, repair company diagnosis and estimate were submitted to Alibaba dispute agent. She disregarded all that evidence and 2.5 months since the start of the claim agent named "Jenny" put the claim on pause so I won't bug them. It's been 2 weeks as I can't communicate any further neither the decision is reached in my or seller's favor. Other Alibaba agents can't help either. So I have to buy a completely new inverter from the seller.

SCAM in repair service ALIBABA protection
I bought an ice cream machine. It had a defect on the compressor that take more time to go out. Seller after months of good collaboration admitted completely the fault but after hundred of promises also to refund, not did nothing. You have free replacement in ALIBABA contract and in extreme situation 2% of value if seller not make the repair!!! (20eur on 950 eur of investment!). I asked replacement, I made a dispute thinking that in the really bad case I will took my 2%=20eur also because the service request have been approved by the seller. Nothing, ALIBABA simple closed the request with any motivation and without respect the at least the 2% that already is ridiculous. 950$ lost = TOTAL SCAM!!! check deep the warranty and alibaba insurance condition - you will discover that are SCAM (especially if the insurance have validity 2 months max and the delivery 3 months!)
