Honestly not sure what some of the negative reviews are about. I’ve had a great experience with Pebblebee. The device does exactly what they say it will, and when I had a question about setup, their support team was super helpful and quick to respond. No complaints here - I’ll happily buy again.

I’ve been using Pebblebee trackers for a year now and they’ve worked really well. I chose them because they’re rechargeable and work with both Apple and Android, which was perfect for our household.
I had one small issue with a Clip not ringing, but support responded quickly and helped me fix it. You can tell they care and actually follow through.
The app and features keep getting better, and overall, I’ve had a much better experience than with other brands. Definitely worth trying if you want something reliable and well-supported.

I've been using the Pebblebee Tag for a few weeks now, and while it has potential, it's currently not the best choice for Android users.
What I liked:
The hardware is excellent. It's small, sleek, and comes with a rechargeable battery via USB-C — a big plus compared to disposable battery trackers.
The built-in LED and loud buzzer make it easy to find nearby items, even in the dark or under cushions.
iPhone users will appreciate that it integrates with Apple’s Find My network out of the box, offering reliable location tracking even when the tag is out of Bluetooth range.
Where it falls short:
The big issue is with Android support. While Pebblebee has announced future compatibility with the new Google Find My Device network, that update still hasn't arrived, and there's no clear timeline on when or if it will.
In the meantime, Android users are stuck with the standalone Pebblebee app — and that means no meaningful crowd-finding. If your tag is out of range, it’s invisible unless another rare user nearby also has the app installed and running.
This makes the tag pretty much useless for remote tracking unless you're on iOS.
Verdict:
This could eventually become a great cross-platform tracker. But, until the promised Google network support is live, I can't recommend it for Android users. It’s a well-made device, but right now, it’s missing the software support that truly matters.

I've ordered a clip, tag and card and must say that I'm quite impressed. I've made the switch from Tile because I wanted to give the Google find my network a try. I am really liking them. The clip is great for a keychain and is quite loud. The tag is way smaller than I expected and the card does it's job.
I was really surprised that they just updated with a feature I wanted!! I was really doubting if I should switch over to Pebblebee because they didn't have the ability to ring my phone and now they've added it through an firmware update!
These tags are not to be trusted. I bought 4. After few months, one was impossible to track, and another still showed up but was impossible to ring. This is worse than useless, because you may think that your objects can be tracked but actually they can't. If you write to customer service, they have a very convoluted way of fixing the sound problem that takes a day just to understand. Absolutely avoid.

I was looking forward to these, on first impressions it seemed better than other models. The charging point was a bonus. But after a few months it would play no sound. Then it died a few weeks later.

Very easy to set up and elegant devices with a long battery life. Within Bluetooth range they are very easy to find.. within Google's find my device network I'm not sure yet.. they are probably as good as any device can be .. I bought from pebblebees site and they were delivered promptly
Tag always said I was at home. Thats always, never picked up a signal. When i complained, I was told it was MY phone signal issue.. not true as our apple tag showed location.
Returned weeks ago and still awaiting refund.
Poor all round.

[Taxes and import duties]
Below are two problems which I resolved after talking with customer service. I include the resolution after the description of the problem.
1. When listing values of items on the package, they don't include price decreases related to buying 4-packs and discounts. For me, the stated value was close to 2 times higher than what I paid, which basically doubled duties and VAT I had to pay for the package.
Resolution: Pebblebee reimbursed me for the difference in tax I had to pay.
2. During ordering, they claim that taxes are included, however I still had to pay VAT when the package arrived. The price didn't lower when I filled in the shipping address, indicating I paid the VAT twice.
Resolution: I didn't pay VAT twice. According to Pebblebee, this "tax included" message is only invalid for customers in Switzerland due to being in Europe, but not in EU.
[Customer Service]
They reimbursed me for additional taxes I had to pay due to incorrectly stated values of items on the package, but they couldn't help me with my trackers not pairing (I managed to pair them eventually without their help).
[Trackers]
The trackers work well, but there may be issues with pairing. Particularly on Fairphone, it was impossible to pair multiple trackers (2-3) during one day and I had to spread out the pairing process over multiple days.
Did not assist in servicing a working device that will not pair.
As far as the reply, I spent more of my personal time than needed not receiving the support needed. I have already switched brands of products. It is to late to resolve this issue, I already am determined to recommend customers find a different product and have a recommendation for that as well.
And to TrustPilot: They respond 5 months later and you give me days to respond to their request or have the post flagged. Seems unbalanced.

Quite a good solution to tracking your devices, easy to install but a little disjointed when it comes to using Google Find My Device. The trackers show up on android devices when using the google app, but fail to show up on my iMac when I open my google account to Find my Device page. My other Android devices show up but NOT my Pebblebee Clips. This is MOST dissapointing. but having said that, the tracking of a lost device or item, that it is attached to, is genius and the alarm you can trigger is loud and the flashing light would allow locating the device even in total darkness. Only got the devices today but have heard that the battery generally requires charging about once every 12 months. Once a month would be sufficient for me so I will be delighted if it lasts as long as suggested. All in all, I can recommend this item.
The Pebblebee device works well provided you're nearby and can connect to it via Bluetooth. The alarm sound is loud and the light works well. Good that it's rechargeable.
Unfortunately if you're not within Bluetooth range then the Pebblebee is effectively useless. It's hamstrung by the Google Find My Device app which needs multiple android devices to be nearby simultaneously before it will give a location.
Until Google change the default settings on the Find My Device app so that the default is 'with network in all areas' on all android phones then Pebblebee and similar devices just won't live up to their full potential.

The items are great but they don't declare the correct values to customs meaning charges are huge. They don't make costs clear. They then avoid the questions when asked. Very misleading as a company which is a shame as honesty would have got them along way.

I see a lot of negative reviews on here, but many (not saying all) seem based on misinformation. First of all... As to the Google Find My trackers not working well when first received... Google was still rolling out the update. It was a few weeks before I was reliably able to "find" my trackers when testing them, but it began working and has only gotten better. You have to remember... It's not just when Google rolls out the update... It's when people get around to updating if they're not set to automatic. Writing this review in August of 2024 and I can find my clip, and wallet tracker easily and reliably when anyone else with an android is anywhere nearby. (This is with my phone set to Bluetooth off, and nearby device permission for Google Find My turned off so it can't find it itself and has to rely on the network).
This brings me to number 2... A lot of people complaining it took a long time to receive. This because they were waiting for Google to roll it out so they'd be functional. They cut it so close that... As we've covered... Many devices hadn't got the update yet. So they really couldn't have shipped them any sooner. I have since placed 2 more orders and always received them within 7 days.
Anyways... Since this is supposed to be a review... Ya, they work. They work well. And I now have a clip in my daughters soccer bag, a wallet tracker in my wallet, my daughter's wallet, and my wife's, and a tag in my son's glasses case and all are easily located at any time. And what's best... They're all rechargeable (which I haven't had to do yet for any).
Terrible app and product can't ever find your keys or wallet with this app. Badly designed don't understand how YouTube gives it such high ratings im confused. Never works properly I seriously wouldn't bother with this product.

I got a tracking card(looks like a credit card) and put it in my wallet, soon after it broke because I sat on it. They told me not to sit on it(a wallet sized card to track your wallet), they replaced it, but would not refund. I tried to return my other two products, 2 tags, and it had been more than 15 days so they would not return them.
Also, they send a link out to review there products, but when I tried to use it, it had expired. So they only want people to review their products right after they purchase and before they get any use out of them.
None of them have ever worked for actually tracking my device, I don't know if that is pebblebees problem or androids problem, but the product does not work. Wait to buy from a better company that has better products because these don't work.

Overpriced (€127.95 for 4 Clips + €14.95 shipping to Europe).
Ordered June 30 for a trip on July 17 with "expected delivery late June to early July". It's July 25, they haven't even shipped yet and refused to compensate. Redeemed "Clip, Card & Tag" offer, they only shipped Clip and Tag. Complained, they claimed I was informed it was unavailable (I wasn't), offered a new discount coupon for the Card, and manually added it to the order when it allegedly became available again.
Apparently only sends satisfaction surveys when they help you and expect positive feedback.
Spams your personal and work e-mail addresses with unsolicited e-mails.
Firmware updates require reset.
Runs limited-time offers of 20%, then, after you redeem them and the offer expires, runs another limited-time offer of 30% immediately after.
Good support.
Update (10/19/2024): One of my clips stopped ringing after ~2 months and another one rings but often doesn't stop ringing.
Update (10/21/2024): They acknowledged the issue, promised a fix via firmware update, and provided reset instructions to remediate meanwhile.
Update (06/19/2025): Pebblebee requested a reference number, my full name, my e-mail address, and my phone number within 3 days or my review may get removed.
Update (06/20/2025): According to Trustpilot, the request for personal details such as my full name and phone number came from Pebblebee. According to Trustpilot, this process is not part of Trustpilot’s verification system and is entirely dependent of Pebblebee. It's not about how Trustpilot manages content or reviews authenticity checks. It's about Pebblebee "asking for more details to better understand your [my] experience".
Update (07/18/2025): Had to threaten chargeback and legal action to get a refund for an order I returned 1 week ago and they confirm they had already received.
Updated (07/19/2025): They only provided a partial refund despite receiving everything back unopened.

I have placed 3 orders two for a a pack of 4 Pebblebee clip and another for the tag for Android. One order I cancelled last year because it was over 6 months on backorder. I was refunded but this did not include shipping and it was substantial I live in the U.K. I placed another order in April this year and another 2nd of June after getting messages product is ready to ship. I will be going away for a long time with two autistic children one non verbal and 3 years old but still nothing with no idea when they will arrive. In hindsight I should have just bought a Chippolo or Tile that I will most likely have to do anyway and feel scammed would definitely not recommend unless you do not care what year it arrives and not bothered about using it any time soon.

While I like the concept, I was looking forward to charging and trying this product. Unfortunately, the card came with a charging cable that couldn't be hooked up to a USB port. Instead, the other end was a USB-C cable. When I tried to call Pebblebee there was no number. Customer service is only via email or chat. Both are slow and ineffective. Their response was to go out and buy a converter cable. They also said they can't (won't?) talk to customers.
I would recommend that everyone avoid this product like the plague. It doesn't have much of a range, it is bulky, they don't give you the correct charging cables and there is absolutely NO customer service. Get Apple AirTags instead. They work better and have a much, much longer range.
