A buyer's point of view: 2 stars. In the last 5 years, I had made approximately 15 purchases. 10 purchases were not as advertised. The skin on 2 jackets peeled and had to be thrown away after 1 use, another jacket was too small, 2 purses were not as pictured, 2 cds were missing from their cd cases, 1 shirt was completely faded, etc. My conclusion from my experience is that the site is equivalent to shopping at a local thrift store. Buyer beware!

I would give Poshmark a negative 0, if I could. I sold items on their site, but for some reason there are 3 items sold over a month ago that I have not been paid. Poshmark says they are processing these payments for over a month, but have not released them. My emails do not get answered or they claim to be busy processing emails. At this point it feels like they are keeping my earrings. This is stealing from their clients. Very unethical and against the law. And if you want to get a hold of someone on the phone? Good luck with that. There is no phone number to get a hold of anyone.

If I could give zero i would, I recently sold a goyard wallet. Buyer said it was fake, poshmark states in rules no fakes are allowed to be sold. It was not fake, poshmark said they would dispose my fake item. So pretty much that person got to keep,my 900.00 wallet, thatbi was only selling for 90.00. How in the hell can they destroy my property. To hell with there platform I am done. So many issues. Don't ever sell with them they suck!!!

Do not sell or buy anything from Poshmark they are hypocrites and sell you authentic things and then when you’re posh, they hold your accountable! They also allow bullying slander and not doing anything about it. Save your money and buy from a legit company.

I ordered an expensive Christmas gift in November with plenty of time. The seller has been unresponsive, policy states that I can cancel if the order has not been shipped in 7 days. Poshmark support says no its 14 days because of Canada Post strike. What does a strike have to do with a seller not bothering to ship the item! Customer support is non existent, no phone number just an email address that goes unanswered. they take your money and run! Do not buy from them.

After a 3 ear experience selling on-site we have now closed 5 stores tat aligned with our products, fine jewlery, fashion jewelry, Watch contracts A, Watch Conteacts B, Estate Antiques. One store was in process of Posh Ambassador fully met but no response from service.
Fees 20% Ehay, Amazon, Mercari, Depop, Bonanza all more affordable
Seller Support average response - 47 hours and each time although you sent an internal message from inside your account with the username... the demand you provide username and screenshot even if it's not a screen visible problem
Too many lostings, listing chsnges... our boutique holds 3k products 3speciakky based on variants of earrings etc... 5 times we have been warned about adding produ t too fast 9r changing process forcholiday sale too fast or heaven forbid when we did new images, we closed and reset new listings accounting for tariff prices as well

2024 and 2025 have seen massive declines in traffic. Fees are 32% higher thsn the next closes competitor ebay.

As a small business outlet... Pishmark is absolutely nit a good partner fir small businesses.

We have niw closed all 5 stores and dont regret it one bit, it allows us to invest more in legitimate platforms built for sellers and buyers

My experience was similar to other Poshmark sellers, absolutely horrible. Spent hours to sell one item and ended up getting scammed for hundreds of dollars to link my card info with Poshmark “technical assistance”. No feedback from Poshmark support. Reported fraudulent activity to my bank and shutting down Poshmark account. Unreal this is going on unchecked?

I believe some sellers come on Poshmark to scam customers by deliberately omitting the features of their products. Very disappointed that Poshmark encourages this. This is the second time it has happened to me.

While I was listing items onto my closet, I received multiple phishing emails pretending to be Poshmark. I emailed customer service with my concerns and they replied with pre-written scripts, dismissiveness, and rudeness. The manager my case was escalated to was even worse, she was so incredibly awful. I asked how to get Poshmark to delete all my data and I have yet to receive a response. I have filed a complaint against them on the BBB.

Done with poshmark. Buyers don't respond to questions or offers even when you are only $5 below asking price. Waste of time

Scam buyers switch claim damage and return and no matter how hard you try they do NOTHING !! You’re on your own be prepared to lose items you list on this site high fees with absolutely no support
What a lousy site !!!

Sold a twenty five hundred dollar chanel bag and the authenticators damaged it and then sent it to the buyer. The buyer said that they took no effort in protecting the bag that it was loose in a box shuffling around with no protection. The buyer was of course unhappy they forced a return on me and now i'm out the twenty five hundred dollars and have a damaged bag.

Poshmark does not stand behind their own terms and conditions and certainly does NOT have any sort of protection for sellers. Buyers are using the "Item not as described" function to force a return, then send back items that are damaged and not in the original condition. Any emails to their so called Customer Support are replied with an auto generated response and go no further. More and more sellers are getting scammed by a system that caters to unscrupulous buyers and thieves. For a 20% commission, they should take better care of their sellers.

I am writing this review out of extreme frustration with Poshmark's policies, which completely fail to protect buyers.

I placed a full-price order from a seller who then became completely unresponsive and failed to ship the item. The real problem, however, was Poshmark's customer service. Despite my pleas for help, they refused to intervene and simply told me to wait for the entire 10-day shipping window ("Holiday Season") to expire before I could even request a cancellation. This policy protects inactive sellers and leaves paying customers in limbo.

Even after waiting the mandated 10 days, I now have to wait an additional 2 business days for my refund. The entire process has taken nearly two weeks to resolve a simple issue: an unresponsive seller.

Customer support showed no care or urgency. They repeated the policy back to me as if it were a solution, rather than addressing the core problem. The platform seems designed to prioritize seller convenience over buyer protection and basic customer service.

I cannot recommend Poshmark to any buyer who expects a secure and responsive shopping experience.

Buyers beware! I recently ordered 3 items for Christmas. One pair of joggers arrived with holes which were not pictured or in the description. The second pair of joggers arrived in a child’s size when the listing stated they were men’s size. The last hoodie was ordered over a week ago, has not shipped, and there has been no response from the seller. Poshmark answered one of the cases and denied my return request, going against their own return policy. Their return policy states that an item may be returned if it is not as described in the listing. A men’s medium and a child’s medium are 2 totally different things if you ask me, but they feel a medium is a medium I guess because they just stated they couldn’t allow a return just because the item didn’t fit. Of course it didn’t fit! A grown man can’t wear children’s pants. If you order from Poshmark you might as well just throw your money in the trash. They are nothing but a scam.

The email support is clearly answered by robot. My questions were NOT answered. I have been seriously ripped off by a seller, and there appears to be no way to resolve this issue.

I can safely say this is THE WORST company to deal with as a consumer. Trying to contact them is a true joke. No phone numbers, just the ubiquitous email address. Their primary goal is to secure their 20% commission from the seller, and they will do anything and everything to prevent you from cancelling an order. Forget trying to return an item. That is impossible. Finally, their prices are far higher than any other online site.

I added five items to sell on the Poshmark portal. Nothing but scammers. I emailed customer support and kept getting conflicting information.
Buy a $500 prepaid card and add it into your account. No, we never ask for you to do that. Yes, we text you. No we never text you.
I removed everything and will sell it elsewhere.
Pretty pathetic that they can get better software that protects the seller from scamming.
If I could give zero stars I would.
